I made contact with Novus clinic through Whatclinic platform. Salma have contacted me the same day, and have made 3 different plans for me, which we discussed later. After explaining to me the 3 plans, I have made the decision to do the single-stage plan. I have booked a flight to confirm my reservation. Once I arrived at Istanbul airport the clinic driver was waiting to take me to the hotel. The next day I started the treatment. The procedure was professional and not so painful. The service was perfect. My contact Salma was with me every day during the treatment to translate and be sure that I receive the best service. After the treatment, I was very happy with the results and I had no pain at all. It was a good experience. I strictly recommend Novus clinic to everyone that want to have a nice smile with the best quality materials and services.

Having researched months prior and having had colleagues who went to other hospitals in Turkey for similar procedures my gut feeling was to go with Sam Patient services, purely due to the diligence and effort put into reassuring all my reservations and queries. I have never met such humble, honest and empathetic working professionals given that I come from medical background. The level of honesty and sincerity was out of this world. Care provided from the beginning of enquiry to day of discharge from; Gokmen his colleague my amazing Surgeon Dr Serhat Buldur and all the nurses including the cleaners, caterers, the VIP drivers with the smooth fast transition of transport to and from destinations which were already present and waiting on our arrival and the admin staff was impeccable and delivered at Gold Standard to say the least. I have already suggested multiple people from UK and I’ve only been back day!!!. That’s how happy I was with the level of service, care and honesty provided to me along my personal journey. I rarely do reviews, but Dr Baysal deserves 5 stars, and I am also doing you a favour because Dr Baysal must be one of the most competent dentists in the jungle of Turkish dentistry. Firstly, he is one of only few dentists to use CT scanning as a diagnostic tool (none of my former own dentists have ever done that). His diagnoses are therefore 100% informed and accurate, and I still can’t believe I had to go to Istanbul to get that! He picked up several important issues needing attention, which my UK dentist had overlooked for years and would have caused me serious health issues later, had they not been caught by him in time. He really is exceptionally competent at diagnosing, which is fundamental and should be the basis your treatment plan yet left out by most other dentists. He addressed the necessary issues, gave me a few treatment and cost options but without pushing for additional work. His work looks amazingly natural & beautiful, but my oral health also improved so much after the treatment (combination of sinus lift/ implant/root canal/crown). In terms of dentistry work, he is a perfectionist. Weirdly, it’s a pleasure to observe him work because he is so skilled; no former dentist that I have had treatment with were as detailed or took as much time in their preparations as Dr Baysal. He even sent some crowns back to the lab because he was not perfectly happy with their shape and thought they should be 1mm longer (and he was right😊). Granted, there are cultural differences, and the clinic is more informal and ‘open plan’ than I’m used to, but perfectly clean. Information is a bit sparse, on a need-to-know basis, but I'll take that any time over my former dentists' mediocre work and ill-informed diagnoses delivered with perfect bedside manners. Dr Baysal is a genuinely caring person, very competent and I’m so, so glad I found him. I’ll happily be flying to Istanbul for even regular dental check-ups going forward. His clinic is in a great part of town, and it will be a pleasure to see him and his sweet team again. I highly recommend him. Look no further, honestly.

This review is long overdue. What can I say except Dr Osman and his team are truly amazing. I flew to Antalya in August 2019 to begin my treatment. I was met at the airport by a lovely driver and taken to my hotel. On the Monday, I was collected from the hotel by the driver and taken to the clinic. I was really impressed on my arrival as every inch of the clinic was spotless. My treatment has been first-class since day one as I have been a patient at the clinic for 4 Years! I even visited the clinic to have my permanent teeth fitted once the Covid 19 restrictions were lifted as I’d been wearing my temporary teeth for nearly 18 months. What can I say Dr Osman is an amazing restorative dentist and in my opinion the best in his field. I have an imperfect amazing smile thanks to him my smile is so natural. Dr Osman is amazing and constructed for me a natural white set of teeth which I absolutely love. My treatment consisted of 11 implants a sinus lift and bone grafting. I have also had injections in both my cheeks to relax the muscles in my jaws as on further examination at the clinic it was found that I grind my teeth. The whole experience for me at the Umut Dental clinic has been amazing any concerns or problems I encountered have been resolved swiftly and I can honestly say I would do it all again. The pain I felt during the implantation of my implants was managed well and I would like to once again personally thank everyone at the Umut Clinic for all for their professionalism and expertise. Hopefully, I’ll see you all later in 2024 for a check up. Last summer I came up with the idea of having the treatment and the perfect vacation at the same time. I had my veneers done almost in one week whilst I was enjoying my holidays. Unfortunately, when I came back home I realized that somehow I got unpleasant and painful sensitivity in some of my teeth. That was a moment when I was asking myself whether it had been a good idea to have teeth done from far away from your city. I got in touch with doctor Özgür about my problems. He recommended being patient and waiting because usually, it should pass some time after the treatment before the teeth come back to their normal condition. And I waited and kept communicating with Özgür who supported me all the time. And after a while I felt better indeed. But when I understood that some of my lower teeth are still sensitive and there is no point to wait anymore I decided to be back to "Özgür Yıldırım aesthetic dentistry" to replace these veneers. And so I did. The veneers replacement was covered by warranty and finally, my problem has gone! I would like to note, that even if you have the treatment done in your city, there is no guarantee that the clinic and a doctor will be ready to fix some of your problems by warranty, as it is a very arguable thing. So I appreciate Dr Özgür and his wonderful team for everything! Thank you guys!

Would 100% recommend VK smile. From start to finish they was absolutely amazing. Picked us up from the airport, sorted our hotel and picked us up the next morning to go to the clinic. Very welcoming on arrival and always made sure you had plenty to drink. Everyone is so helpful. My treatment was 24 zirconium crowns, and I finally have my dream smile, with a massive thanks to these guys. If you have been trying to find a dentist for your dental needs, this place is a must! I went to Kent to have two white fillings done as well as a scale and polish. The facilities available are quite impressive, and I has given a x-ray as part of the free consultation before being given a written, costed treatment plan to accept or decline. I was apprehensive about seeking treatment abroad, but my translator, Atakan, was very informative and helpful in the lead-up to the appointment. Dr Akdereli completed the work. Unfortunately for me, the cleaning revealed further signs of decay on other teeth, which were previously hidden by plaque build-up. I was shown the areas of decay using a camera. He then offered to stick to the original treatment plan, complete all the fillings I needed on one side, or complete all on both sides for which I would need to pay the difference. I opted to have fillings completed on one side of my mouth so I wouldn’t be numb from anaesthetic across my whole face. Dr Akdereli completed the three fillings within half a hour with no pain except for one tooth where I experienced some discomfort due to the depth of the filling, which is to be expected. No visit to the dentist is ever a positive experience for me as I am an incredibly nervous patient, but I had a substantial amount of work done with minimal pain, and made a large saving compared to the UK. They even price-matched my dental clinic at home with the cost of the polish, as this was originally more expensive here. What would improve my experience realistically would be being informed of what stage of the treatment is taking place by the dentist whilst undergoing treatment. After 20 minutes, I was under the impression I was still having the first filling done, which made me panic. Dr Akdereli reassured me through our translator at this point that he was about to complete the last filling, to my pleasant surprise. He even spoke to me briefly in German, which I can speak partially to lighten the mood. I left the appointment feeling quite stunned - something which is normal for me if I have anything beyond a small filling done - Atakan sat with me in the sun until I had composed myself after the appointment. Whilst I didn’t travel to Istanbul specifically to have dental work done, I would consider returning to Kent in the future. My only hope is that the fillings last a substantial period of time, as I am writing this five days after the appointment. I have no pain in any of the teeth, the fillings are the right height, and I only have minor sensitivity to cold which is to be expected for a couple of weeks. All things considered, this was a generally positive experience.
