Having researched months prior and having had colleagues who went to other hospitals in Turkey for similar procedures my gut feeling was to go with Sam Patient services, purely due to the diligence and effort put into reassuring all my reservations and queries. I have never met such humble, honest and empathetic working professionals given that I come from medical background. The level of honesty and sincerity was out of this world. Care provided from the beginning of enquiry to day of discharge from; Gokmen his colleague my amazing Surgeon Dr Serhat Buldur and all the nurses including the cleaners, caterers, the VIP drivers with the smooth fast transition of transport to and from destinations which were already present and waiting on our arrival and the admin staff was impeccable and delivered at Gold Standard to say the least. I have already suggested multiple people from UK and I’ve only been back day!!!. That’s how happy I was with the level of service, care and honesty provided to me along my personal journey. May they be blessed to continue the hard work, commitment and care they provide for struggling individuals who commit to entrusting their lives, vulnerabilities, fears and emotions into the hands of such good noble and humble people.

I've never been happy with my smile as my teeth were uneven and misshapen due to my own failings but also the lack of affordable options in the UK. Fortunately I found the amazing team at Focus Dental and after a brief message over WhatsApp, I arranged an appointment to suit my holiday to Bodrum. I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at Focus and had a consultation to determine what I was hoping to achieve and what they could do to get me there. I was offered 2 treatment plans and I went with option two which was 10 zirconia crowns. Which was roughly 70% cheaper than in the UK. Having never had dental work I didn't know what to expect but the friendly staff once again put me at ease and we're very attentive to my needs. The process of having my existing teeth filed down was painless and left me with nothing more than slightly sore gums due to the anaesthetics. I had a temporary Implant which was a replica of my old teeth installed to tide me over until the crowns were ready which only took a day and then on the third visit the magic happened. Installing the crowns took much less time and again was painless and after a quick polish I was good to go. I cannot recommend Focus Dental enough, it was truly life changing and my only regret is not getting it done sooner.

I contacted several dental clinics in Istanbul for implants and Diş 212 were both the most reactive and the most competitively priced. They were quick to answer all my questions before the treatment, and just as quick while I was sitting in the dentist's chair. Everyone was nice and professional, and I'm very happy with the result so far. Can totally recommend.

I chose this clinic because they understood my needs and offered a treatment plan within my budget. Staff are excellent as was the treatment I had; highest praise for them. Extractions, Dental Implants, Bone Grafts, Gingivitis treatment Dental Crowns This a long overdue deliberate delayed review as I wanted to give an honest opinion on the service as well as the treatment I received. The first visit was in December 2021, 2nd Visit December 2022. Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to the coordinator Omid who I found to be passionate, professional, dedicated, and a wonderful personality to boot, who made both of my trips immensely easier. Secondly, I would like to offer my whole hearted appreciation to Dr. Onur Ademhan and Dr. Fuat Biter. For most people who look online for medical tourism in Turkey in my case dental, there is a myriad of choices and often it can be daunting on which is the correct choice for the individual. The reason I personally settled on Perla (I had contacted 7 in total) was mainly due to the issues I had with my teeth and my oral hygiene over the years. I generally do not believe some of the reviews as I may be incorrect but most are just happy once they have an aesthetically pleasing smile. For myself, it was to fix my root cause of broken teeth, gaps, bone loss, and Gingivitis. So hence the oral surgeon was the most important aspect for me. After some extensive research coming across what clinic as well as other review sites I came across Perla and found the blogs online by Dr. Onur Ademhan. As per the standard approach, contact was done via WhatsApp. Omid was brilliant in the initial conversation and everything after this event. Once the booking of the flight was done. Omid organized the hotel, Transfers etc, and the timings of treatment on the required days. December 2021 Stage 1. Dr Onur Ademhan. Extraction of 9 teeth, 9 implants 4 upper and 5 lower. 4 bone grafts and Gingivitis treatment. This was after 3D X-ray and consultation. I shall be blunt here and I was dreading this part. But to be 100% honest I can say that the fear of the pain was worse than the pain itself. During the process. I did not feel a thing. In fact, after the first day of extensive work after 1-hour process was complete I was walking around Antalya with a mask on. It was uncomfortable for next few days. So I ate soup mainly. I had some swelling on the face. They prescribe mouth wash, antibiotics and pain killers which did the trick. In fact after 2 days I virtually stopped taking the pain killers. Stage 2 and Stage 3. Dr Fuat Biter. Shave down the remaining teeth and after 4 days of healing time. I upgraded to a higher quality temporary dentures. As I knew I would need at least 6 months to allow for the implants to heal due to the bone graft. I paid extra for porcelain dentures. Crowns etc. Which was a wise decision as they last me 12 months without issues. As I had to wait due to family reasons 12 months instead of 6. Also, Dr. Fuat Biter stayed late to make sure my temp teeth were done correctly and this I was so grateful for. Important fact. For the last 10 years I had issues with infections etc after the above treatment I had zero issues with this. I was able to eat normally after 2 weeks. Plus the temporary teeth looked good and were comfortable. December 2022 Stage 1: . Dr Onur Ademhan and another colleague who I forgot the name. X ray was done and great news all 9 implants had fused to the bone without failure. The other oral surgeon then took over and placed the healing caps. Stage 2: On said same day met Dr Fuat Biter. Who shaved the remaining teeth more. Did a 3D scan for new crowns. Placed my old temporary back so could eat. Chose natural smile and BL3 shade. As wanted to look like normal teeth shade not super white and false. Stage 3. Testing/Fitting over 2 days. Which god bless Dr Fuat Biter, he spent considerable time in my sessions with him. Testing checking to send the crowns bridges back to the lab for modifications. He was extremely vigilant considerate professional caring. I really appreciated his approach as not rushed and was very detailed tooth to tooth. Due to the trust I had in him I left some key decisions to him as he is the expert and I glad I did. As the ones I had in my mind, he did it without me telling him. Even though he did ask me what I wanted to change etc. Final Thoughts: Apologies this is a long review. But I wanted to be honest as I can be as a paying customer going to Turkey for Dental work. Hence I waited until fully complete. I have no issues at all. From a personal point of view, I recommend Perla if you decide to use them as I got the service, care, and quality I expected and received.

I visited Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital on August 5th 2024 to get 3 implants and a bone graft. From my first contact to the last my experience was very good. I have scheduled initial consultation via email as I was coming from the US and everything at the Hospital was ready for my arrival. Mr. Atakan Sumer, my translator, was very helpful and made sure I understood my options for treatment, and everything about the procedures. The operation was organized very efficiently on the same day, and took about 2 hours. I got prescription for antibiotics, pain medicine, mouthwash and nasal spray, and Mr. Atakan was kind enough to walk with me to the drug store to fill the prescription. He contacted me afterwards to make sure I was feeling ok after operation, and I am happy to say that a month later my mouth is healing nicely, and I am looking forward to getting crowns installed during my next visit to Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital.

I've had bad teeth since my teens and have seen many dentists, but DCI is the best. The staff are professional and welcoming, and I can't recommend them enough. I had 12 implants put in and can't wait to go back for my final set in 6 months. Amazing experience from start to finish!
