Daniel and his staff are amazing. They made me feel welcome and are really understanding/supportive. I had awful teeth and was really anxious. I had a temporay filling to my wisdom tooth,as a large piece had broken off, and I did not want infection to set in, as I hope to have it crowned at a later date. G-Dental was one of 3 dentists open during the covid 19 Pandemic, and the first to reply to me. The dentist Jacek Chmielewski, could not have been more professional, and explained everything in detail to what he could do to fix my tooth, given the current situation. I have been a patient of Dr Makhani for several years now and as a 66 year old have had some experience of dentists. He is a consummate professional and obviously up to date with all the latest technology. My latest visit involved a troublesome back tooth that had been giving me spasmodic pain and was slowly becoming worse. After a careful inspection Dr Makhani noticed a small crack in the tooth which made a root canal and filling pointless as the tooth would disintegrate. An extraction was on the cards but from the x-ray a curved root could be seen making that potentially problematic. Luckily expertise runs in the family and Dr Makhani referred me to his son who has a speciality in extractions. What particularly impressed me about Shahid was his overall care and determination not to extract unless absolutely necessary. After two more visits, some treatment, and advice from Shahid we decided that it had to come out. The extraction was perfectly executed and the troublesome curve in the root was removed. His advice on aftercare was very useful and I was back to eating normally within two weeks. I also received a phone call from Mrs Makhani to to check on my progress. Only downside that Swimming was not allowed for two weeks. Great treatment!

My son Matthew was extremely nervous of dentists. He needed an extraction and a filling done. He couldn’t even tolerate a routine clean and polish job being done . Previous attempts to have work done by other dentists failed. We booked a consultation with Conor, he listened to Matthew and reassured him it's okay to be nervous and that he could help him. He recommended IV sedation for Matthew, which I can only say worked so well on the day. All the work was done at one visit, Connor and Lorna were brilliant with Matthew, I can only highly recommend Conor and the team for nervous patients, 10 out of 10. Hi there, 19th Nov 2019. This visit was to the hygienist for scale and post. Costs are always fair and competitive. I have attended the Avondale Clinic for many years. Catriona and her team are first-class professionals combined with a very friendly and personal approach. I could not recommend them more. I actually look forward to booking my next appointment! The practice is spotless, bright and airy and the staff are relaxed and helpful. More recently, Grace, a new Hygienist started at the clinic. She is superb at scaling and polishing, with zero discomforts. Sincere thanks to all the staff at Avondale Dental Clinic.
