Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

I was booked in with Andrea to have my balloon inserted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make my appointment as my husband had to have emergency surgery and couldn’t fly from NZ to Malaysia. This aside I have found Andrea and her team absolutely wonderful to deal with. I felt completely supported as I prepared for my journey. Andrea is incredibly accommodating and so helpful and I would recommend her to deal with if you're considering any type of procedure.

Dr Janet is very professional and experienced ,her caring towards on her patient is really appreciated. She never put her patient into any expensive treatment until it was required. Very calm and her patience in listening to me is made very comfortable with her to discuss about my issue and previous history. And today , Alhamdulillah, I am so happy that I recovered completely in a very short period of time. It’s really very thankful to get know about Sheen Clinics . My dream has come true. I used to imagine things like this but didn't know that it could happen really. The procedure has been done so beautifully. Little painful but enjoyed the pain. Just flew back from the UK at the weekend without so much as a whimper thanks to Seamus’s excellent work - that was my second trip so I’m very confident the treatment has worked. I fly regularly with work and it was becoming more and more of a challenge to deal with the fear and anxiety before and particularly during the flight. I’m a different person now when it comes to flying - nerves no longer an issue. I’ll still listen to the session in advance of further flights but that’s just to reinforce the happy thoughts. Amazing results!!! Let’s first start with my hair - It had thinned so much that I lost my confidence in myself- pretty embarrassing. HOWEVER, as soon as I started using Arora hair products within 3 months it made a huge difference and now all my work colleagues have not only noticed it but ordered the same product too. I can never thank Arora enough - she has made me feel like a woman again…. I have also indulged in her skin rejuvenation treatment and permanent hair removal (pricey but every penny spent was well worth it). Excellent results!!! Where previous treatments have failed this treatment has proved very successful and my pigmentation has practically faded away and that’s only after one treatment - no need for makeup! Outstanding! I first attended Gentle Family Chiropractic having been on A & E the previous evening in so much pain I could barely move. What I really appreciated is how Dr. Rosemary took time to map all possible traumas going right back to my childhood. She explained how what I was feeling was not skeletal or muscular, and that it was the nerves, she related that to hardware and software and as an IT person, that context was very important to me. She isolated the source and commenced treatment. Between the first week and today, my treatment has made a world of difference. I am still on the journey but I am grateful and fully confident that my treatment will result in full recovery.
