BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Arman Ataç was born in Shiraz in 1968. He completed his primary and secondary education in Shiraz and his high school education in Ankara. In 1986, he started studying METU, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During his education, he preferred to be a doctor. He graduated from Ankara University School of Medicine in 1993. In 1994, he started residency training in ophthalmology at Hacettepe University School of Medicine. He graduated in 1999. Between the years 1999 and 2004, he started working at Fethiye Letoon Hospital. He has been working at MuğlaYücelen Hospital since 2004. Renowned throughout the region as an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Arman Ataç was one of the highest scorers in the European Ophthalmology (Eye Diseases) Qualification Examination held in Paris, in which 470 candidates from 24 European countries participated. He has a European Ophthalmology Council diploma and a FEBO (Fellow of Euopean Board of Ophthalmology) certificate/graduation. Having participated in numerous national and international congresses as a speaker to date, Dr. Arman Ataç attends congresses regularly every year.

Obstetrics And Gynecology Specialist (Gynecologist) Dr. Onar was born in 1975 in Iğdır. He completed his medical faculty education at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 1992-1998. He completed her residency training in 1998-2003 period at Istanbul Medical Faculty Istanbul Medical Faculty Gynecology and Obstetrics Major Science. He worked as the chief physician of Private Avrupa Hospital / Istanbul Hospital for a while. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked in gynecological oncology surgery unit of Çam and  Sakura City Hospital. He has been working as a gynecologist and obstetrician for 20 years since 2003. Since 1998, he has performed thousands of surgeries in the fields of infertility, gynecological oncology, gynecology and obstetrics in a total of more than 25 years of study. He works especially in gynecology, urogynecology and gynecological oncology. Currently, he continues to work to Private Ortaca Yücelen Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Polyclinic. He is married and has two daughters.

In 2010, she received a scholarship from Istanbul Bahçeşehir University, Psychology Department. In 2013-2014 academic year, in the 3rd grade Özge Karakuş, who had to freeze her education for half a semester due to a traffic accident while she was a class student, continued her education after nearly 20 brain surgeries and 9 months of hospitalization. Özge Karakuş, who graduated in 2016, met with a treatment called "Neurofeedback" for memory loss, attention deficit, partial paralysis, and visual impairment during her treatment. Dr. Arif Kürşad Ayan was born in Erzurum in 1978. He graduated from Erzurum Cultural Institution Primary School, Erzurum Anatolian High School and Erzurum Science High School. After the graduation, he started studying at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 1996, and graduated in 2002.

Op. Dr. A. Gökhun Alpua was born in Ankara in 1990. He completed his primary and secondary education in Samsun and his high school education in Ankara Gazi Anatolian High School.

Op. Dr. A. Gökhun Alpua started his medical education at Gazi University, Faculty of Medicine in 2008.

He started his Cardiovascular Surgery specialization in Marmara University at Cardiovascular Surgery Department right after his graduation in 2014. In 2020 he completed his specialization and became a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist.

Between the years 1985 and1989, he worked as a urology assistant at Ankara Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. In 1989, he started working as a urologist at Çorum State Hospital. Between the years1989 and 1990, he worked as a urologist at the 200-bed Kyrenia Military Hospital. From 1990 to August 2013, he continued working as a urology specialist at Çorum State Hospital. He worked as the chief physician in the same hospital between the years 1996 and1999. He worked at Private Elite Park Hospital between the years 2013 and2019. Op. Dr. Ece Gizem Türdü was born in 1989 in Istanbul. She completed her primary and secondary school at Hasan Ali Yücel Primary School in Istanbul, and high school at Istanbul American Robert High School.

She started her medical education at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Medicine in 2008. She graduated with honors in 2014 and received the title of medical doctor.

In 2015, she started her specialty training at Dokuz Eylul University, Medical Faculty Hospital, Department of General Surgery. She resigned from this position in the same year.

In 2016, she started her specialty training at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic.

After successfully completing her specialization thesis on 'The Effect of Operation on Fertility and Pregnancy Outcomes in Patients Operated for Endometriosis' in 2020, she completed her speciality training and received the title of Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist.

Dr. Merih Yılmaz was born in 1974 in Muğla, Turkey. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Muğla.

Dr. Merih Yılmaz started his medical education at Osmangazi University, Faculty of Medicine in 1992. After graduation in 1998, he started working in Taşlıçay district of Ağrı province due to compulsory service, then he worked in Eskişehir Province Sivrihisar State Hospital. After his military service, he worked as an ambulance physician in Eskişehir Provincial Ambulance Service. Until the end of 2006, he worked as an Advanced Life Support Instructor of the European Resuscitation Council and took part in various courses organized by the Turkish Resuscitation Council in different cities in Turkey.

He completed his cardiovascular surgery residency program in Hacettepe University, Cardiovascular Surgery Department between 2006-2012. After completion of compulsory service in Iğdır and Denizli State Hospitals, he resigned and started working at private heart centers. He is still working at Muğla Private Yücelen Hospital Heart Center.

Dr. Merih Yılmaz successfully completed the Endovascular Interventions Program at the Medtronic Innovation Center in 2016. He completed the "Mitral Valve Repair - Fundamentals and Beyond" training program organized by the world's two leading names in mitral valve surgeries, Prof. O. Alfieri and Prof. M. De. Bonis at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy in 2017. Then he participated in the "Atrial Fibrillation - Workshop" held at Leiden University in the Netherlands in 2018. Due to his special interest in aortic aneurysms and dissection surgeries, he participated in various trainings and workshops organized on this subject, successfully completed the subject-oriented post-specialty training programs organized by the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Merih Yılmaz has performed over 2000 open heart surgeries for nearly 10 years after completion of his residency program. He has experience in complex open heart surgeries, valve surgeries, high-risk redo-heart surgeries (two and above openings) and aortic aneurysms.

A committee has been established at Muğla Yücelen Hospital to assist patients in making further diagnosis and treatment decisions. Cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, anaesthesiology, internal medicine, chest and occasionally neurology specialists take part in this committee, which is called “Yüelen Hospitals Heart Team”. The Heart Team evaluates all aspects of the patients brought to the committee with an approach focused on the patient, not the disease, and offers the patient the most appropriate and most beneficial treatment method in the light of national and international guidelines.
