Hi I’m Alan (originally Scottish) but I have lived in Melbourne, Australia for over 30 years. I found out I needed a dental implant about 5 years ago and was quoted some very expensive pricing in Australia. I knew about the high standard of Healthcare in Malaysia and reasonable pricing and I found Utama Dental centre via some research and reading very positive reviews. The customer service at Utama were very responsive and easy to deal with and arrange the implant appointments. My experience at Utama has been very positive. It is a top-notch facility with helpful/friendly staff. Dr Ahmad, the implant specialist, who is American-trained, is great at explaining the implant process and absolutely meticulous in his approach and carrying out the procedure. The post operation care was also excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Utama Dental Centre at about a 3rd of the cost of Australia and we’re still well ahead after the travel and holidays in Malaysia which we absolutely love. In fact, I’ve just returned again with my wife who needs an implant and for some other dental work for myself and a couple of friends. The cheap flights are back and I would suggest to any fellow Aussies that getting an implant at Utama is definitely worth considering. I certainly have had a very good experience.
My wife and I had some procedures done by Dr. Tuyen Vu which included teeth cleaning and filling ground back. Denture relined and crack repaired. Extraction and new partial denture The workmanship was first-class. All this within a space of a week. What was most impressive was that we were picked up from our hotel by the good Doctor for our first appointment. The relationship between Doctor and patient was very cordial. She made me feel at ease during the whole process. (I hate dentist pain) All we can honestly say. Doctor, you have given me back my smile and saved me heaps. Thanks again for all your skill.

Highly recommend! I flew from the UK for this treatment after reading many reviews for the place. Dr. Nehal made me feel at ease when I was nervous and explained everything perfectly before and after treatment. I had laser gum treatment done and felt minimal pain. My gums look and feel much better in just 2 sittings. Will definitely return in future.

My visit to Picasso Dental in Hanoi was amazing. I travelled from Sydney to Hanoi and began a course of treatment over two separate visits across a month. I had four crowns fitted, one large filling and the removal of an old and very large amalgam filling. I also had the first stage in preparation for three implants and furthermore the fitting of an Invisiline tray for my bottom jaw. This is a lot of work! I have been to many dentists in my time, in the UK and in the last 20 years while living in Australia. But my visits to Picasso were by far and away the best dental treatment and care I have experienced. I was so impressed by the professionalism and level care shown by all the staff there. Being an international patient and being in an unfamiliar city is not a small thing. In the first minutes of arriving at the clinic, the staff made me feel so welcome, they were so calming and understanding. I have to say I did have some apprehension about the amount of dental work ahead. However within a very short time this apprehension disappeared. Monica, the client services manager, who acted as an interface between my fantastic dentist and orthodontist, was so patient and caring, taking a lot of time to explain every step of my treatment. The attention to detail that both my dentist and orthodontist demonstrated was so impressive. Making the decision to go to Hanoi and have the dental treatment done by Picasso was of the best decisions I have taken for a long time. I not only received top-class dental care, it was so cost-effective in comparison to having all this work undertaken at an Australian dental practice. So I have every confidence in recommending Picasso to anyone thinking about travelling internationally for dental care.
