I visited Carolina Medical Center as a health care tourist from the UK. Given the long UK National Health Service waiting times for treatment, and the high price of private treatment as an alternative, Carolina Medical Center offered immediate attention at a very competitive price. I was very happy with their excellent service. After booking an MRI for my painful shoulder, and an examination by an orthopaedic surgeon who recommended some x-rays that were completed immediately as well as the MRI, I got the diagnosis I needed and a treatment plan. I was struck by their efficiency. My initial inquiry by email and subsequent appointment were very promptly managed by their Medical Tourism Specialist. Once at the Center, I was seen punctually. And I was impressed by their professionalism: an unhurried and very respectful approach from the surgeon who answered all my questions. It is well worth the trip to Warsaw. And for UK medical tourists like me, everybody I encountered spoke English adequately enough so that there weren't any communication problems. I highly recommend!

Over the years I have suffered from aching lower back pain, and shoulder pain. I have been wearing a shoulder support brace and support vest for many years. I cannot leave home without them. I then pulled a muscle in my back, so I finally went to get this all sorted out once and for all. I am seeing Lucy, this is my second visit, and I am already feeling the deference. Lucy identified the problem right away. I have lost strength in my lower back, and my core is very weak. Lucy is very warm and friendly; I feel very comfortable with her. she has explained in great detail why I have been wearing my support braces for so many years and has encouraged me to trust myself and to start believing that I will be ok without my support braces. I have not worn them for 3 days now, when I start to feel the shoulder pain, it reminds me to hold my core, and surprisingly enough the pain eases up. I underwent cosmetic treatment at Florence Nightingale Istanbul using the Turkish Health Ministry’s official online directory. The surgical team, support staff, hospital facilities and concierge services were world-class. I was able to consult directly with the surgeon from Australia with the assistance of the hospital’s international rep (Alişer Durdiyev) via WhatsApp. Everything was arranged for me from hotel bookings to transfers, medications and follow up appointments during my stay in Instanbul. My procedures were recommended and performed by Dr Ahmet Umut Yuvaci, who was fantastic. Florence Nightingale is a first-class private hospital with exceptional patient care. It was money well invested. I had direct phone contact with Dr Ahmet and the patient support team throughout my stay to manage the admission to recovery.

I had a severe pain in my Achilles tendon, which kept recurring after each game of golf. Despite trying several ankle supports and other pain relief creams I could not cure it. However, after one visit to Paul Johnson, I am now cured. He examined my ankle and determined that my problem was due to the tendon being underworked and gave me a series of strengthening exercises which I do twice a day and now I can play golf without the pain. Thanks very much, Paul. Now all I have to do is improve my putting!

I received clear and concise advice about the cause of my condition and the required treatment from Amnish. He used Laser, acupuncture and manipulation for my pain. Due to the treatment and advice from Amnish, my Neck and Back pain including mobility are now significantly improved and I continue to exercise as he suggested. Should the issue return I would be very happy to once again receive treatment from Amnish. Nice looking treatment room and friendly staff add to the whole experience.

I have been having physio since last year with Alice she is amazing she knew something wasn’t right with my knee and worked on other areas that my injured knee had caused until I had a ct scan. Still currently having Alice for physio and I can’t recommend her enough really happy with that Rehabilitation. After having manipulation in November Alice put forward I should have 2 Pt sessions a week I started with Abi absolutely brilliant got my leg/knee more mobile. I’m currently working with Alex for the Pt sessions and we are building the strength back ready for my next operation. All the ladies I have worked with through Achieve are hard-working and absolute stars and can’t thank them enough - the support is amazing. I have more faith in the next operations I have due as I know I have a good support group behind me to help and push me forward.

Lisa is excellent at relieving pain she is very thorough and explains everything to you before starting a treatment. Lisa even has plastic models to show Hans on how the treat ment works at reducing pain. I have only the highest regard for her as a physio. Just simply a great person.

The doctor was on time. The clinic was extremely clean. She was very professional, thorough and caring. Highly recommend. Only thing I can suggest is some kind of numbing agent because of the pain during the procedure afterwards everything went great.
