Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

The doctor make reduction fracture arm for my son with surgery and one wire it’s great and good ,we choose this klinik because we read very wonderful articles on it, our visit is very good in reception from doctor and his assistants and they understood us all things so thanks very much for them.

I travelled to Allmedica, Nowy Targ Poland on the 28th of July 2024 from Scotland for a full knee replacement and a week stay. Oscar our guide was there to meet me off the plane and was very professional in organising all my appointments with my surgeon, nurses, physio and everyone involved. I found the hospital to be spotlessly clean and all staff very professional and caring. Dr Fountzoulas operated on my broken elbow (olecranon) in December 2023. I couldn’t recommend a better specialist in orthopaedic surgery.
