At Embody Health we assist women on their journey towards wholeness and wellness through the mediums of shiatsu, massage & movement, so that you can experience more joy and vitality in your life. Shiatsu is an energy based form of massage that takes place with the receiver fully clothed. It is a gentle and effective treatment that incorporates finger pressure, palming, gentle stretching and mobilization of the joints. It's like acupuncture but without the needles, using meridians and acu-points to bring about relief from a vast range of conditions. It is especially good for pain relief & stress relief, pregnancy, labour & post-partum, chronic conditions such as cancer, M.S, M.E, fibromyalgia, tension, headaches, insomnia, depression, anxiety & trauma as well as digestive complaints but the list really goes on...
