Katiboğlu Dental and Implant Clinic

Prof. A. Bülent Katiboglu graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1984. He studied for doctorate in Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He became associate professor in 1994 and became professor in 2000. He has been a lecturer in Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. Professor Katiboglu acquired appreciation certificate for the academician works he had done from the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1998. He is Chief Editor of Turkish Journal of Dentistry Magazine, The Dental Tribune Turk Magazine, Journal of Implant Dentistry and Journal of Labodent Magazine. He is a consultant of British Dental Journal Turk at the same time. He is also a member of other international and national associations like The Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Turkish Association of Oral Surgery, Turkish Dental Association and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He presided at the Turkish Dentistry International Academic Congress in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and Dental Istanbul Congress in 2007 and 2008. Prof. Dr. A. Bülent Katiboglu performed at the incorporation of Istanbul University Physical Education and Sport Academy, Istanbul University Horsemanship Academy. He acted as general coordinator in Istanbul University Sport Council for ten years and General Secretary of the same council for three years. He has over 60 scientific researches published nationally and internationally, has two instruction books, has many works which are presented at the conference. In addition to consultancy of four postgraduate studies which two of them complated, he studies in various fields such as dental implants, general anesthesia in dentistry, bone graft systems and applications, temporomandibular joint disorders, mini plaque osteosenthesis, distraction osteogenesis, advanced implant applications. Dr. Gülay Katiboglu has been graduated from Istanbul University, Dentistry Faculty in 1997 and accomplished her doctorate study at the same faculty in the department of Prosthetic Dentistry, on the field of crown and bridges, and with the doctorate, named as “Evaluating of different Inlay systems in terms of microleakage” in 2003. Many researches and essays of Dr. Katiboglu has been published in many national academic magazines and journals. She has been working as clinician and has experience especially in Alimuna, empress crowns, aesthetic zirconium and ceramic laminated veneers. Moreover for the last ten years, she has been working the prosthetic superstructure of Dentsply, ITI, Swiss-Plus and Astra-Tech implant systems.
