Following considerable hair loss, my wife and I hesitated for a long time before deciding to go for a hair transplant!

After extensive research, we initially wanted to have an operation in France. Unfortunately, the prices in France quickly turned us off. We therefore looked for a clinic abroad and our choice fell to Turkey. Except that there, another problem appeared: the number of hair transplant clinics present in Turkey is astronomical!!! So I did hours of research and requested quotes from several clinics. I received different quotes, more or less similar in terms of price and services, so the choice was not easy, but I decided to trust my instinct.

Our choice was the Estecapelli establishment, with whom we were able to speak several times by telephone. This is the clinic with which we felt most comfortable for several reasons: our contact, Sena, our translator speaks French perfectly and who took good care of us, so there were no problems of communication, We received all the information on the progress of the stay, the operation and advice for before and after the operation, so we were aware of the whole process, and their price which seemed very appropriate to us in relation to the services included.
So we booked a date, took our plane tickets to Istanbul. once we arrived there, we were picked up straight away, with a driver and taken to a hotel. The next day at the clinic, we were very well received, which really builds confidence and relieves stress.

With the translator, we met a doctor who analysed our hair and confirmed the evaluation that had been done remotely. So it's time to go to the operating room... head shaving, local anaesthesia and the operation. The stages of the operation were carried out by different people, all very pleasant and professional (despite the fact that the people who operate do not speak French, but we saw the translator several times during the day to ask her questions... ).

Around 5 p.m. we were back at the hotel, we took the medication that the clinic gave us after the operation and our first night went very well.

The next morning, return to the clinic for the check-up... removal of the bandage and cleaning of the head. Once again, no specific pain, which reassured us a lot. Products were provided to us for treatment. A video and an explanatory document, everything is clear. and we returned to France with a light mind and no regrets... (I'm still waiting to see the results...).

This experience with Este Capelli was great from start to finish. From the start, I mean the months and months ago that I booked with James, who stays in touch regularly prior to the surgery taking place, and is present throughout the whole journey, made me feel very comfortable. Another great thing was that myself and my brother were able to book on together and have our hair transplants done on the same day, making it less daunting for one another, although after experiencing the way James and the whole staff make you feel so comfortable we both agreed we would have been happy to come alone. I am only a couple of days post-op but very happy with the surgery, I am excited to start my aftercare routine which is very precisely given to you by the staff following your first wash.
