Our daughter started orthodontic treatment with Dr. Mayra at age 8, we have continued to see Dr. Mayra or Dr. Genesis for the last 3 years. We learned of Prisma Dental through International Living during one of their conferences in Costa Rica. They gave a presentation and I spoke with one of their representatives at their table during the conference. My husband and I both needed dental work. His was going to be extremely expensive in the US, so we took the leap and made an appointment online with Luis at Prisma Dental and traveled back to Costa Rica. My husband was extremely apprehensive and wanted complete sedation, but Dr Nadine Rubinstein was so gentle that she was able to remove 13 tooth roots with just numbing. He had no pain during the procedure or that evening. By the next day they had his very natural looking dentures ready! He will be back in 6 months for implants. I needed bonding on my lower front teeth and a cracked back molar fixed. I, too, was apprehensive, but with a mild sedative, Dr. Carolina Nunez built up the back molar and bonded nine lower teeth - all painlessly. The next day, she permanently cemented the new back molar. One can't even tell I had any work done - each bonding is seamless. From arranging for the appointment with Luis to being incredibly kind when we walked in the front door - topped off with the terrific work they did, it was a great experience - and the cost was a fraction of what we would have paid in the US.
The service from start to finish was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable about every stage of my treatment. Everything was explained clearly, and I received a PDF with all the details of services and treatments I will receive with the cost. I was very anxious as I’d never done anything like this before but when I arrived Dr Ebru instantly made me laugh, she is a legend. Looking forward to seeing you soon when my friend gets her teeth done.
From my first inquiring email right to the day, I left Los Algodones the staff at Alberta Dental were friendly and professional. I needed a bridge that I had been putting off until I wasn’t so cash strapped or a truck full of money crashed into my house - neither seemed to be on the horizon. A neighbour told me about Alberta Dental, and I won’t lie about being a little hesitant. The more than $3,000 savings got me over that. And that allowed me to get a higher quality zirconia bridge. Grisel was my point of contact, and what a gem! She greeted me right at the border entrance and escorted me to the clinic just a few 100 ft. The check-in was a breeze, well organized and the staff was attentive to my comfort. Very short wait time before I was in the chair. The equipment is modern and as up-to-date as the dental clinics around here. There’s nothing good that can be said about the prep work that goes into the bridge - it’s an awful time. But Dr Allen was intuitive of any pain I was having a would take a break to check on me. When the bridge was completed by the lab he was not happy with the shade of it and called to have them redo the colouring. Just so attentive to the details. I would definitely go there again should I need other dental work. Thank you all at Alberta Dental!

My tooth broke and I needed a new implant. I got an appointment very quickly and the process for getting the new implant started. The dentist was very knowledgeable about implants and dentistry in general. He did a very through review of my full mouth situation and ensured that all the relevant adjustments were made - not just fitting an implant. The team was also very flexible with my travel schedule and sorted out the implant appointments at a good time. Overall, great support and results.
Friendly dentist and nurses and a great friend I made my interpreter, treatment explained and surgery like express. I am still recovering and I hope I heal soon. I recommend Alba Dental clinic to everyone. I can’t add pictures now because implant treatment will be completed in four months time
I have had an implant done by Dr. Sharon Ochoa a few years ago with great success and I am now going to have an old crown replaced by her in January 2024 at a very reasonable cost. She and her staff are fantastic and I don't hesitate in recommending Odi Dental.
