Caroline is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.. After graduating, Caroline completed her Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and achieved a Distinction in her membership exams for the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Caroline completed a Higher Diploma in Acupuncture at UCD in 2007, as well as a post graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy at UCD in 2011.
She worked for 5 years as a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist in, the award winning teaching Hospital, Whittington Hospital, London, and has worked in private practice since returning to Ireland in 2005. She was also clinical tutor on the MSc Manipulative Physiotherapy Course in University College London. Caroline uses her 10 years of specialist experience to address patients personal needs and preferences to enhance efficent recovery from pain and injuries. She is also currently the team physio for the Under 21s Rugby Team in UCD.
Outside of work, Caroline is an active and enthusiatic Member of Orwell Wheelers Cycling club and is a member of the sports and exercise medicine special interest group in the ISCP. Caroline has an expertise and a special interest in treating people suffering from chronic pain, sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
Stephen is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. He obtained his BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree at University College Dublin. Since qualifying Stephen has worked in private practice. He enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, especially neck and shoulder problems.
Since graduating Stephen has completed a number of post graduate courses covering Biomedical Acupuncture, Pain Physiology, the Management of work related Musculoskeletal Disorders, Workstation Assessment, Sports Injury Management, Sports/Kinesiology Taping and Sports Traumatology. In 2010 he was certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and is currently pursuing certification in performance enhancement /strength & conditioning and level 2 sports physiotherapist accreditation. Stephen takes a proactive approach with all his patients and enjoys getting to the heart of complex movement problems to enable you to play and work pain free.
