About our Therapist:
Our Physical Therapist at L.E.A.F, has a BSc in Applied Health Science, is a qualified Physical Therapist and member of the Irish Association of Physical Therapy. Our therapist his also certified in the innovative and affective dry needling treatment.
Therapists works in collaboration with the client to establish the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction and to effectively restore balance and optimal function.
Treatments incorporate a variety of techniques including, myofascial release, trigger point release, cross fibre friction, mobilisations, neruodynamic openers & sliders etc.
What to expect during a treatment?
Sessions are one hour for the first visit and 45 minutes thereafter; if needed. The first session is longer to allow for an in-depth client history, postural analysis, along with orthopaedic testing to allow for an accurate diagnosis. The treatment is 100% hands on – meaning that no machinery is used to assist with the treatment, and therefore, allowing the client to receive a positive treatment helping the client get back to pre-injury status.
