I had an initial assessment which Gary gave me a clear diagnosis of my injuries and what was causing it. We then made a plan based on my goals (running and tennis) and a timeline to full recovery. Gary did some treatment which consisted of hands on work showing me how to move better and which muscles to use and how, I was shown some strengthening exercises and he used some dry-needling, it's a bit like acupuncture, which I wasn't too excited about but it did relieve my symptoms. He taped my knee and foot which felt weird but it did change the way I walked almost immediately.
I returned for three further sessions which were more of the same with more exercises. It was never very difficult but I always felt I had done something.
I run and play tennis and I'd been putting off going to a physio for months until the pain in my shoulder and knee got too much. I saw Gary, one of the physios in the clinic and he had me back running and playing tennis pain-free after 4 sessions. I didn't realise I was doing myself harm by moving in certain way and being a bit weak in a few areas. Gary changed how I moved my shoulder and gave me a few exercises and I can honestly say I haven't had any pain since. I still do a few exercises for maintenance which I think I'll keep up. Couldn't recommend higher!
