After graduating from St. Georg Austrian High School, he started his education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996 as the third generation representative of the family in dentistry.
After completing his dental education in 2001, he was accepted to specialty training at Istanbul University, Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In 2004, he worked in the field of dynamic navigation in implantology in Prof. Bier's team at the Department of Clinical Navigationand Robotics in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Charite Campus Virchow Hospital, University of Berlin.
In 2008, he completed his training in oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery and received his doctorate degree.
Between 2007 and 2010, he conducted scientific studies on implant biomechanics, interface biology and alveolar bone regeneration under the supervision of Prof. Neukam at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Erlangen.
He has received project grants and academic support scholarships in the field of implantology from different international institutions.
He received the title of associate professor in 2013 and professor in 2022 at Istanbul University Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he is currently working as a faculty member.
He has authored numerous national and international original articles, reviews and book chapters.
He has received international research awards in the field of implantology and maxillofacial tissue engineering.
In recent years, his research and work has focused on the biomechanical basis of osseointegration in implantology, immediate loading and the use of digital workflows.
He gives numerous lectures in Turkey and abroad to share the latest approaches in the field of advanced implantology
