My nearly 3 yr old son fell and 3 weeks later his front tooth was turning gray . It was dying. Since we live and work in Laos where there is essentially no decent dental care, we always have to come to Thailand. Our only experience prior to this for dental work, though, had been at Bumrungrad which is a phenomenal hospital and dental facility. However they aren’t really kid friendly. I knew my 2 year old would scream for the most basic cleaning as he hates strangers grabbing him, let alone a painful procedure. So I looked online for reviews and read one mom’s blog whose situation was the same as ours She said it was truly child friendly and joked that it looked like a cafe. When you arrive you will understand. (There are logos about coffee all over the front for some reason.) But don’t judge a book by its cover. This place was incredible! Families can wait in this large 2 room kid-friendly play area with all kinds of toys and play houses. The air conditioning was blasting which is good because in my son’s situation, he had to be strapped down in a little papoose yet it was still nice and cool for him. We were at the dentist with our 4 kids along with many other kids while a toddler got a root canal, and my 2 older kids (ages 7 + 9) got cleanings, x-rays and sealant applied and yet my kids were completely entertained. No problems at all because time passed quickly. I really appreciated the exam/operating room having glass windows which allowed parents to peak in. This brought such comfort to me and my kids. My husband was allowed to stay with my toddler through the procedure and the whole time they played Peppa Pig on the tv screen in front of him so he was distracted as much as possible. Our total for everyone was $450 USD in Feb 2024. Needless to say we WILL be coming back! Oh! I almost forgot! Since we were coming from out of the country what was amazing was that they texted with me through WhatsApp so I didn’t have to wait for emails. I could go back and forth explaining the issue, sending pics and X-rays we had and the coordinator sent them to the doctor who came in especially for us know a Sunday with just 2 days notice. Highly recommend!

Wisdom teeth are third molars. Normally people have three permanent molars that develop in each quadrant of the mouth. The third molars usually will try to grow in at around age 18 to 20 years. Wisdom teeth are actually no different than any other tooth except that they are the last teeth to erupt. They are just as useful as any other tooth if they grow in properly, have a proper bite relationship, and have healthy gum tissue around them. Unfortunately, this does not always happen.When wisdom teeth are prevented from erupting into the mouth properly, they are referred to as impacted. I have needed an implant for some time but have put it off because of the cost. I had to go to Bangkok last week on business so thought I would visit Truth Dental Clinic for an assessment and quote, and to get cleaning, descaling and polishing done. Before the visit, all my emails were answered promptly and in detail, which in addition to a clear transparent, reasonable pricing policy is why I chose this clinic over others. The clinic is in a convenient central location walking distance from a BTS station in an upmarket building, and the clinic itself is upmarket, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The doctor who did my assessment and the other one who did the cleaning and polishing were attentive, polite, considerate, thorough and knowledgeable and discussed the pros and cons of different options. Their fingers were so small and light I hardly knew they were in my mouth, noticeably different to home in Australia. I was impressed and will be arranging to go back for the implant.
