If you're ever in need of a fantastic dentist, I highly recommend coming to San Jose, Costa Rica! After losing my front teeth and neighboring tooth in an accident at age 11, I've undergone numerous operations and tried almost every possible dental treatment by age 37. I've had to replace my front teeth every 10 years or so, especially during my younger years when I was still growing. I've been with Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for a couple of years now, and he's the first dentist who not only does a technically great job but also considers aesthetics - which is super rare, believe me! Highly recommend Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for professional and cosmetic treatment - he's one of the best dentists I've ever experienced!!

In August of 2024, my husband decided he wanted to get dentures. This was because he has had dental problems for some time and does not like to go to the dentist. He will soon be 89 years old and decided if it was going to happen he had better get it done. I did a lot of research on dentures, crowns and implants. It all seemed very expensive. I then researched the dental facilities in Mexico. I read a lot of reviews, went on various websites and compared different clinics and dentists. After much discussion, we decided to use MARIETTA DENTAL CARE in Algodones, Mexico. We made a very good choice! When I called the office, I spoke with Luis Padilla, the patient coordinator. He was very cordial and set up an appointment for an evaluation. Their driver met us as we came into Mexico and took us to the clinic. At the office, we found it to be very clean and modern. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist, Jesus, who offered us coffee, soda or water while we waited for our appointment. At the appointment, the dentist who worked with my husband was Dr. Leslie Carrasco. She was very efficient, professional and gentle. After her examination, she gave her evaluation with a very good explanation of his problems. We were given three options for procedures for the dentures, crowns or implants. We then met with Luis Padilla and he reviewed the options with us. This included the time element for each option. The financial amount for each option was written out in detail for us to review. Luis offered to help us with accommodations if we had to stay overnight and a driver to take us to and from appointments while in Algodones. We agreed to let them know as soon as possible on our decision about the option my husband preferred. Crowns were the option he chose, especially with the short amount of time the whole procedure would take. Luis set up a schedule for the work to be accomplished in a total of four days. We agreed and decided to stay in Algodones while the dental work was done. Dr. Sarai Payan and her assistant Mia did most of the work with the preparation for crowns and bridges. After the crowns were made in the lab they did the work in putting them on the teeth. In doing all of this they were always conscientious about my husband’s pain level and made sure he was comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. They also helped him choose the colour he wanted for the crowns and we were all very pleased with the results. Other specialists came in to do the extractions and the root canals that were needed. Again, his pain level was a priority in all the procedures. Now remember we are talking about a man who does not like dental work. He said he felt very little pain but his mouth was sore from holding it open for so long. All of the above took three days. On the fourth day Dr. Sarai checked his bite, did some adjustments, went over the care of his new teeth and gave him a final “O.K”. I would like to thank all the staff at the MARIETTA DENTAL CARE. From the dentist who worked with my husband, the receptionist, Jesus, including Danessa who helped me get prescriptions, and to the driver, Jerry, who got us very safely to and from all the appointments we highly commend you all. And we highly recommend you all! We met other patients from the east to the west coast at the office. These patients, along with my husband, were very efficiently directed by Luis Padilla, the patient coordinator. So, as I said in the first of this long review, we think we made a very good choice in going to MARIETTA DENTAL CARE!

I was looking for a dentist in Algodones and read through reviews and emailed 4 different offices. Dr Ruiz personally called me back immediately and got me an appointment for the next day (which is the day I asked for) I went this morning for an X-ray, exam and cleaning with Dr. Ruiz and had the best experience. I definitely recommend him and his staff and consider him my new Dentist. Great office and Dentist.

I had a full permanent implant denture on top and three implants on the bottom. The overall result was very good I am happy it was done at Dentics. The value is excellent. Gabby was wonderful to deal with, organized and professional. Their transportation arrangements for my wife and I were reliable and on time. The Dentists were specialized and very thorough with all of the work that had to be done. Thanks to everyone there.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at Varto Oral Surgery, and I’m really happy with my decision. I chose this clinic because they had done an excellent job with my parents’ dental work, so I already had a lot of trust in their expertise. My first visit was very positive. The staff were welcoming, and professional, and took the time to explain everything in detail, which helped ease any nerves I had. They made sure I understood the procedure, and the aftercare, and answered all my questions. As for the treatment itself, everything went smoothly. It was quick, and the recovery process was much easier than I anticipated. I’m very satisfied with the results and felt that the clinic offered great value overall — both in terms of the quality of care and the cost. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing wisdom teeth removal!

The Unik staff was fantastic. Dr Ramos is very good in his speciality Kim is his assistant. They were very gentle on the mouth the shots didn't hurt just a bit. I am returning to finish the rest of the work. Their prices are reasonable they have their lab to make their teeth bridges etc. They also do any type of work needed. There located in Los Algodones Mexico.

I recently spent 4 days in Los Algodones getting dental work from Dra Mayra Jimenez and Reny Dental. It was a great experience and I now have a full lower set of teeth, something I haven't had in decades. The practice is very professionally run, I would say to the same standards you would find in the US, super clean and with all the latest equipment and techniques. The staff all speaks English, which is important, if, like me, you can only speak a couple of words in Spanish. I am a very nervous patient, having been putting the work off for years but Dra Mayra has a very calm and reassuring manner that went a long way towards keeping any anxiety down, she is also a perfectionist. I can't say that the procedures were painless, 7 root canals take it out of you! but I was given sedatives. The Town itself is an Interesting colourful place, with lots of Hawkers selling all sorts of stuff but very safe. We stayed at the Cielito Lindo Hotel, booking through Reny Dental gets a substantial discount, depending on how much work you get. In my case, I got 50% off the Hotel Bill. Overall, I am very happy with the work done. The doctor told me It could be up to a month for the pain to settle and at the 2-week mark, it has mostly gone. Getting used to new teeth and no partial denture has been a new experience. The price I paid for all my work was very reasonable, I would say around 35% of what I would have paid here in Salt Lake. Also, my smile is greatly improved, not the main reason I got the work done but I'll take the Movie Star teeth! I highly recommend using Reny Dental and will return to do my top teeth sometime in the future.

We learned of Prisma Dental through International Living during one of their conferences in Costa Rica. They gave a presentation and I spoke with one of their representatives at their table during the conference. My husband and I both needed dental work. His was going to be extremely expensive in the US, so we took the leap and made an appointment online with Luis at Prisma Dental and traveled back to Costa Rica. My husband was extremely apprehensive and wanted complete sedation, but Dr Nadine Rubinstein was so gentle that she was able to remove 13 tooth roots with just numbing. He had no pain during the procedure or that evening. By the next day they had his very natural looking dentures ready! He will be back in 6 months for implants. I needed bonding on my lower front teeth and a cracked back molar fixed. I, too, was apprehensive, but with a mild sedative, Dr. Carolina Nunez built up the back molar and bonded nine lower teeth - all painlessly. The next day, she permanently cemented the new back molar. One can't even tell I had any work done - each bonding is seamless. From arranging for the appointment with Luis to being incredibly kind when we walked in the front door - topped off with the terrific work they did, it was a great experience - and the cost was a fraction of what we would have paid in the US.

My family and I have had multiple treatments at Guatemala Dental Team and are always happy and satisfied with the results. I have had veneers, an implant, fillings, root canal, both my daughters have had work fixing a broken front tooth, which came up perfectly, like brand new on my 7-year-old, braces for my 13-year-old, cleaning and whitening for both my husband and I. Dr. Jose Manuel Jimenez has performed extensive dental work on me. He is very meticulous and a perfectionist. You will be 100% happy with the results. He is a highly distinguished dentist with years of experience in general dentistry, oral surgery and cosmetic work as well. His office is kept extremely clean and the staff is very friendly.

I had a really great experience at Denti Vitale. The facility is very clean. It was no fuss. I had composite fillings put on to my front teeth. I had many dentist tell me no, that I need canine to canine veneers. I did not want to get veneers because your teeth are shaven down when you get veneers. Denti did not question or oppose my wishes. The procedure was also very quick, all done within 30 minutes. I am happy with the results. I will most likely come back here when it is time to redo them.

I am doing my orthodontic treatment with CANAM Smile Makeover and I find the service given by the dentist absolutely great. Good equipment, excellent reception and very good value for money. In addition, it is a Canadian company based in Cancun. You can't ask for better. I recommend! 😊🦷
