I’m in my mid-30s and had a lifting surgery back in 2019 to fix sagging cheeks. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. I ended up with stretched pixie ears and noticeable scars around my ears. Hi, I'm currently living in Hong Kong. I want to share my first rhinoplasty at Hyundai Aesthetics. Before the surgery, my nose was not beautiful but it was quite good. It just wasn't as high as I wanted, and it made my overall facial appearance somehow outdated. I had never undergone any cosmetic surgery before, so I was quite nervous. However, the nose surgery was not as painful as I thought. I only felt difficult when breathing after 12 hours of surgery. I couldn't sleep because I had to breathe through my mouth lol. I had the surgery at 10 a.m., and at 10 a.m. the next day, I went to the hospital for swelling treatment. After removing two cotton balls (maybe? Idk) inside my nose, then I could breathe more easily. I'm not very satisfied with the hospital because it's quite small and lacks many therapeutic tools to help reduce swelling and bruising. They only provided an ice pad, a laser light and oxygen therapy. And their staff responds to messages very slowly!!!. Last, they only have 1-2 English-speaking staff, so it's quite inconvenient. And the price they offered is affordable. After returning to Hong Kong, I asked them to send me my before and after photos. Honestly, I am about 80% satisfied with the surgery. Dr. Lee is not only the best at his craft, but he is also humble, kind and committed to perfection. After interviewing multiple surgeons, I decided on Dr. Lee, and travelled from Canada to South Korea for reconstruction and revision rhinoplasty. I had an extremely complicated case, having had a previous rhinoplasty procedure in Canada that left me with a saddle nose deformity and collapsed nasal valve. Some of the other doctors I consulted advised that the surgery was too complicated or wanted to use gortex or silicone to rebuild my nose. Instead, Dr. Lee used my own rib cartilage to rebuild my nose (which is much safer than foreign materials). Dr. Lee is a true artist. The result was truly life changing. I am now able to breathe normally. Beyond that, Dr. Lee created a nose that surpassed my expectations. He created a nose that perfectly fits my face and features. I would be remiss to write a review without also thanking Joann and the nurses. The whole team took great lengths to ensure I was comfortable and enjoyed my time in Korea. The entire experience was seamless from airport pick-up to ongoing care at the residence. Every detail was considered down to serving patients anti-inflammatory foods, to LED red light therapy to reduce swelling. I am extremely grateful to have met Dr. Lee and the VIP team.
