KH Chiropractic is located in Cranbrook / Rockbeare, near Exeter. Our Chiropractors are fully qualified and registered with over 12 years experience. Their 5 years masters degree training qualifies them to diagnose, treat and manage conditions related to joints, ligaments, tendon and nerves. Our Cranbrook Chiropractor is passionate about Chiropractic and helping people with their recovery. Our Principle Chiropractor Karen Habershon has a special interest in treating women through pregnancy and paediatrics. Chiropractic treatment aims to free joints that aren’t moving properly and remove disruptions in the nervous system. Treatment is tailored to the individual. Some patient prefer traditional spinal manipulation and others prefer lighter techniques such as cranial treatment. Our Chiropractor will listen to your needs and recommend the most appropriate treatment technique to suit you. For paediatrics (babies) we use gentle cranial-sacral and 'touch and hold' techniques (these techniques use pressures similar to those you'd use to test how ripe fruit is). John graduated from Trinity College with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Physiology and from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England as a chiropractor. After working in London he returned to Dublin in 1992 and now practices in Ranelagh and Walkinstown. John combines his knowledge of the human body with chiropractic to provide a unique, professional and safe approach to the treatment of back complaints. He works closely with members of the medical profession in the treatment of conditions such as: back pain and leg pain, neck pain and arm pain, trapped nerves and sciatica, headaches and migraine, slipped disc, frozen shoulder, whiplash, sports injuries, repetitive strain, jaw problems, arthritis and back pain in pregnancy. John receives medical referrals of infants diagnosed with colic and reflux, and has a success rate in excess of 90% in treating these cases.In his treatment of sports injuries John has worked both in Ireland and abroad with high performance professional and international athletes in sports such as basketball, squash, tennis, rugby, soccer and skiing. He has also worked with FAI teams such as St. Patrick’s Athletic, Athlone Town and Monaghan United. He has provided backstage and on-set services to both the music and film industries, and has also been chiropractor to the American, Australian and Argentine Embassies.

We are trained to diagnose, and treat problems of the muscles, joints and nerves.. Conditions treated at the clinic include joint, muscle and soft tissue pain and injuries, headaches and migraines, trapped nerves, minor sports injuries, pain related to arthritis, stress and tension, and neck pain. At your first visit a comprehensive examination is carried out, which is followed by the appropriate treatment. Treatment is reviewed regularly to ensure you are receiving the best possible care for your condition, and to ensure a quick return to your normal activities.

Cheltenham Chiropractic Clinic was set-up in July 1978 after the graduation of RitaHemmings. Always on the same site, the clinic has grown, walls moved and buildings added;up until November 1991, when the last addition was made. It is quite understandable that some of our longer term patients get lost! There are currently two chiropractors practising at the clinic: Rita Hemmings, D.C.Rita Hemmings graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in 1978 and is a member of the BCA; having been on the register of the GCC since its inauguration. Having now practised for over 30 years, she has seen a wide variety of patients and conditions, giving her an extensive field of experience and the opportunity to help with a wide range of problems. Catherine Owers, B.Sc. (Hons), D.C. · AssociateCatherine graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, in Glamorgan, in 2002 -achieving a first class honours degree - and undertook her pre-registration training year at Cheltenham Chiropractic Clinic; and has been here ever since! Catherine is fully registered with the GCC and is a member of the BCA. As well as working in Cheltenham, Catherine also runs her own part-time clinic in Malvern and has a special interest in treating sports injuries and headaches, as well as using spinal rehabilitation to reduce the chances of mechanical dysfunctions reoccurring.
