What is Vaser Lipo™?

Vaser Lipo™ is a minimally invasive procedure to remove localized fat. It takes about one hour to perform per area. The surgeon will inject liquid into the targeted area. The liquid contains a chemical to numb the area and a chemical to shrink the blood vessels. An ultrasonic probe is inserted under the skin of the targeted area through a small incision. The ultrasonic waves break down the fat cells through vibration at a specific frequency. The surgeon will then remove the fat using a small tube and suction.

Is Vaser Lipo™ painful?

Vaser Lipo™ is performed under local anaesthesia or sedation. The targeted area is infused, at first, with a liquid containing a numbing chemical. Patients will not feel pain during the procedure.

When can I travel by air after Vaser Lipo™?

Patients should ideally wait five to seven days after the procedure before flying. This depends on the number of targeted areas. They should seek the advice of their surgeon and get certified as fit to travel by air before embarking on their journey.

How long does recovery take after Vaser Lipo™?

The recovery time for vaser liposuction is usually between two to three weeks.

What after care does Vaser Lipo™ require?

Patients should take any prescribed medications correctly. They should wear compression garments correctly. Patients should not wear tight clothing for at least a week. They should drink plenty of fluids for at least a week. Lymphatic drainage massage, performed by a qualified and experienced massage therapist, is useful during the recovery period.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sami to anyone who considers gynecomastia surgery or liposuction. I choose Dr Sami based on research. After my first meeting with him, I had the impression that he knows his craft and that actually he's a very nice person. We decided to go for liposuction because my condition was severe. After the treatment, I rested for about 6 weeks and the result was pretty impressive. I was already very happy but we decided that even better results could be achieved and I underwent surgery. I'm 2 months post-surgery right know and the result is excellent. I know each case is probably different but in my case, I can tell that I got what I wanted. I just wanted to give a little background information on my story, In 2021 I had a breast augmentation and nipple lift performed in a well-known Irish private hospital, unfortunately, I assumed that the surgeon was a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon this turned out not to be the case, and I was left with a very bad result.
