During Covid I got stranded abroad in the tropics for six months. I’d only planned on being in the sun for a week, so hadn’t packed lots of sun screen – and when I got stuck in a remote village where they didn’t sell high SPF sun cream, like a fool I decided to just not bother. Big, big mistake. When I got back to the UK I thought I’d done irreversible damage to my face – but I booked myself in for three sessions of Advatx at Dr Rakus’ clinic, and I cannot believe what a difference they’ve made. They reversed the pigment discoloration, shrunk the enlarged pores, and got rid of the lines and wrinkles caused by sunburn.

Dr Shobhna Singh was my trusted Doctor for 30years until l shifted out of the area completely. I looked 10 years younger. Dr Shobhna Singh is an extremely respected Physician. And knows her craft. Highly recommended. Wish l could keep getting treatments. I attended this lovely clinic 6 days ago for UltraClear Superficial. Numbing cream was applied roughly 30 minutes before the procedure, it may have been longer but I was feeling very relaxed, laid on a massaging bed listening to music of my choice. Photo’s were taken and the treatment began. I’m not going to lie, the treatment was uncomfortable around my ears and the sides of my mouth but was soon forgotten because it was over so quickly. I was very red afterwards and you could see imprints on my neck from the machine, I did bleed a little but no pain. The clinic advised to take paracetamol if needed but it wasn’t necessary. You’re given a care package to take home to clean and moisturise the area and this does work, a little smelly but it does the job brilliantly. The following morning was a shock, my pillow case was a little bloody and my face even redder but no pain. Six days on and my face is already glowing, it’s amazing how quickly you recover. Don’t hesitate in having this treatment, you need to plan the downtime, if you don’t want anyone to know, I would allow a week to be on the safe side. The clinic itself is lovely, very clean, the staff are friendly and the practitioners are very professional. You are made to feel special. I understand why they win so many awards. Just go and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. The photos are on day 1 and 6. Still a little red around the neck on day 6 but could easily be hidden if necessary.

I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone. On my arrival, I noticed how clean it was the staff were very friendly and polite. The owner was very helpful and the prices were amazing and very low.

A follow-up visit to the lovely Julie Scott today to review the effects of a NeoGen procedure. All questions were answered with plenty of quality time to discuss things in full. Always a pleasure to know I’m in safe hands.

My appointment was to remove the skin tag on the eyelid which was done very quickly along with a couple of others I didn't even realise were there. Also had some sun damage removed from my face and whiteheads which was a real bonus. All treatments were explained to me and carried out quickly and efficiently. I felt very comfortable and at ease in pleasant surroundings and appreciated the advice given to me on skincare. Very good value for money. Strongly recommend.

The results of my sessions have been great! I have had multiple sessions removing facial hair and it has worked great and super improved my self-esteem. Results will obviously be better if you have dark hair like I do and for anyone getting sessions for your face I definitely recommend their numbing cream first before any session, I forgot for my first session and made sure I didn't forget any others. Also very friendly staff and very lenient booking times for reschedules.
