Could not recommend enough to anyone dealing with anything similarPadraig, Ireland, 21 06 23

I had been suffering from anxiety and anger issues due to years of swallowing emotions. Martina provided a safe and trusting space that helped me work through this. I felt at ease with her from day one and she was very patient with helping me open up and deal with my issues. It was a lot of work but I am in a much better place now thanks to Martina and the work that we put in. Could not recommend enough to anyone dealing with anything similar or feeling like everything is piling on top of them.

Brief mental health check up €30 - €40
One service I provide as an option alongside the is a brief mental health checkup.  This is not a psychiatric or psychological assessment but a client led, self reflective process. This idea provides a space for the client to reflect on key areas specific to them such as ConcentrationEmotionsMoodEnergySleepWork/Life balanceRelationshipsTension/AnxietyBy reflecting on some of these topics with the respectful guidance of the therapist the client can arrive at an assessment on how they are doing and whether they may need assistance on any specific area(s). This “check up” would normally take place over the course of one or two sessions.
Work Related Stress €50 - €80
Post Natal Counselling €50 - €80

Difficulties ranging from addictions to naievity, from marital challenges to job related stress or even unfair dismissal or bullying in the work place. Some of us have experienced physical problems like back pain or emotional pain from wounding relationships, abuse or bereavement. Mental pain such as phobias, depression, suicidal thoughts or 'racing brain syndrome' can leave us feeling cornered and without help. Spiritual pain can be experienced when we feel lost or we lack trust in life. At The Healing House we provide caring therapists experienced in each of these fields to help you to feel better as quickly as possible.

My mindset now is starting to changeSharon, Ireland, 13 07 19

It’s so hard accepting that you need help and making the first step. I can safely say, it was easily the best decision I’ve made in a very long time. John has literally pulled me back from the edge and is making me look forward to living again and the future. My mindset now is starting to change. Instead of ‘this is my life for good’ I think ‘this is my life for now’. I’m learning that things will change and it’s not just a saying. Do the work as best you can. It really is one baby step at a time and John is with you through it all. He has saved my life. His thirst for life rubs off very quickly. I am so happy I chose Building Bridges. Thank you for my mending heart!

I could see the improvement in my own behaviour after a few sessionsAlbert, Ireland, 24 04 19

Aidan Lakes provided an excellent service from start to end. I was referred to Aidan through my work EAP program. I felt really nervous at the beginning since I was visiting a different provider for a long time before I met him. My life was a complete mess. The issues I had were: Separation, Court Hearing, Child Custody plus a second break up on the top of all. I arrived at Aidan clinic a few days after "The worst day of my life", Aidan was very easy to chat to and supported me until I was able to stand on my feet again. I could see the improvement in my own behaviour after a few sessions. I would recomend his services.
