Freda diagnosed and treated with ultrasound, tendonitis in my wrist. She sent me away with a set of daily exercises and instructions on the type of splint I needed. Now, 5 days later, it’s so much improved and I’m due back for my 2nd appt in a couple of days.

I’ve been with Michael Lawlor for over 10 years for various treatments. Latest one was when I gave up cigarettes as I’ve been diagnosed with COPD. In my job I’d normally walk about 9km a day. With COPD my calf muscles would cramp after 2 Km. I could write a book about the advice and importantly diet changes that Michael suggested I do. As an aside. I first attended the clinic in September 2019 with plantar fasciitis which I had for over 12 months. My physiotherapist was Conor Tierney. I had 6 treatments and was given exercises to do at home. After the 6 treatments/exercises, I can honestly say I now walk pain-free. I still do the exercises on occasion. What helped me with this was the videos that Conor took of me doing the exercises correctly. He sent them to my phone so I had absolutely no excuses not to do them and I could look back to make sure I was doing them correctly. I then attended Conor again in July 2020. I had a problem with my knee. After the first consultation, we discussed my options and plans. I selected the 7 sessions plan. It was very economical. Again Conor sorted me out with exercises and treatments. I would highly recommend Conor at Stepaside Physiotherapy.
