Such a professional and friendly clinic! I am totally amazed and pain-free from just one session - I have been going to a chiropractor for months for pain in my shoulder. Also to BUPA who suggested an injection that I was not too happy about having. Luckily someone recommended Optimum Performance and I am so glad they did I will be back next week - thank you so much, Sue.

Approach I believe that each person is an individual and has their own unique set of life experiences beliefs history and needs. With this in mind the initial aim of treatment is to relieve the symptoms that cause discomfort and make every day activities difficult. Next I turn my attention to the factors giving rise to and maintaining the symptoms. For example an injury to your knee might also affect the foot hip and spine. As osteopaths we seek to understand why the knee has become injured; why has the injury occurred at this time; why the injured knee effects other areas distant to the knee e.g. foot hip or spine. Once I have developed an understanding of your condition I will discuss it with you and agree a treatment plan that will include advice on exercise posture nutrition and lifestyle. During treatments I usually use a combination of techniques including soft tissue massage muscle stretches and gentle joint mobilisations. Along the way I explain what I am doing how it will help your recovery advise you on exercises that you can do yourself and how to avoid further injury or pain. What to expect Osteopathy offers a gentle and effective form of treatment and is suitable for people of all ages. My mother has been one of Marcia's patients for years and has worked through the whole series of gut and allergy/intolerance issues with her, issues that the NHS simply isn't equipped to deal with. My Mum is 82 and is in a much better physical position because of Marcia's expertise. We don't have lots of money but it's been worth every penny.

Found a clinic on FB advertising an hour consultation for only £29. Lovely, Quiet, Clean, Friendly and Welcoming environment awaited me. I had a very comprehensive, unrushed diagnosis of my achelles' heel pains and the source of the pain was diagnosed - posture and back. The source of the pain worked on, which has reduced the Achilles pains tremendously. I've gone from managing a maximum of 4000 steps before stopping in pain, to 10,000+ with no pain. Bonus my back also feels stronger! The team are fabulous, Amanda & Ryan amazing, what they do is AMAZING. Value for Money. Well, it's working!
