I then pulled a muscle in my back, so I finally went to get this all sorted out once and for all. I am seeing Lucy, this is my second visit, and I am already feeling the deference. Lucy identified the problem right away. I have lost strength in my lower back, and my core is very weak. Lucy is very warm and friendly; I feel very comfortable with her. she has explained in great detail why I have been wearing my support braces for so many years and has encouraged me to trust myself and to start believing that I will be ok without my support braces. I have not worn them for 3 days now, when I start to feel the shoulder pain, it reminds me to hold my core, and surprisingly enough the pain eases up. I was recommended to Maria many years ago. I had suffered a whiplash injury and the pain went all the way from my neck through to my lower back and worsened during cold or damp weather. After suffering for many months and thinking I would just have to live with it, I went to Maria on my friend's advice but admit I was not hopeful. However, after just a few visits, I felt the pain decreasing and gradually everything started to loosen up. I was shocked at how ‘tight’ I had become from being tense because of the ongoing pain. After around 6 sessions, I was able to stop going and felt absolutely fine. Every now and then I get some pain or stiffness due to tension but a couple of visits to Maria and I’m right as rain again! Now I only have to go every few years! I think the last time I went recently it had been over 6 years since my last visit. I recommend everyone to Maria including my own grown-up kids who also go when they need to. I can wholeheartedly recommend and wouldn’t consider going elsewhere:)
I had a severe pain in my Achilles tendon, which kept recurring after each game of golf. Despite trying several ankle supports and other pain relief creams I could not cure it. However, after one visit to Paul Johnson, I am now cured. He examined my ankle and determined that my problem was due to the tendon being underworked and gave me a series of strengthening exercises which I do twice a day and now I can play golf without the pain. Thanks very much, Paul. Now all I have to do is improve my putting!
I received clear and concise advice about the cause of my condition and the required treatment from Amnish. He used Laser, acupuncture and manipulation for my pain. Due to the treatment and advice from Amnish, my Neck and Back pain including mobility are now significantly improved and I continue to exercise as he suggested. Should the issue return I would be very happy to once again receive treatment from Amnish. Nice looking treatment room and friendly staff add to the whole experience.
I have been having physio since last year with Alice she is amazing she knew something wasn’t right with my knee and worked on other areas that my injured knee had caused until I had a ct scan. Still currently having Alice for physio and I can’t recommend her enough really happy with that Rehabilitation. After having manipulation in November Alice put forward I should have 2 Pt sessions a week I started with Abi absolutely brilliant got my leg/knee more mobile. I’m currently working with Alex for the Pt sessions and we are building the strength back ready for my next operation. All the ladies I have worked with through Achieve are hard-working and absolute stars and can’t thank them enough - the support is amazing. I have more faith in the next operations I have due as I know I have a good support group behind me to help and push me forward.
Morning I hurt my back by pushing my mum in a wheelchair. I was trying to get her wheelchair up the payment and mum did a side to side to try and help me I fell over her. Went to see this lovely lady and after I treated that the I could walk upright again. She is kind and caring and is so understanding. Can't thank her enough.
