Laser Eye Clinics Worldwide

I recently was told by my local optician in the UK that I would fail my eyesight test for the merchant navy next time it was due (November 2023) and as my wife was travelling to Turkey to have a new set of teeth fitted, I looked at options to get my eyes looked at. I contacted Catch Life about a month before we travelled and Batuhan, my co-ordinator arranged a consultation with the surgeon Dr. Selim to have my eyes scanned and tested. We arrived on a Saturday and went straight for an eye test, it was exactly what the optician in the UK had said that I was very long sighted and needed Milk Bottle bottoms for reading and near vision. We discussed laser treatment and the different forms of that and then also discussed lens replacement. After a lengthy discussion, I opted for lens replacement and a further meeting and tests were scheduled for the Monday. My Wife and I had a free day on the Sunday, so went out and enjoyed Antalya. On Monday I went for a second check and My Wife went to get her mouth sorted and measured up for some new teeth. After my consultation with Dr Selim, Batuhan and I had a long chat and I confirmed I would go for the lens replacement. Tuesday my right eye was done and Wednesday my left eye. I returned Thursday for tests, and all seemed to have gone well. There was no pain during the operations. Right eye took around 40 minutes and left nearly 2 hours due to finding cataracts. Vision was blurry long distance and almost 20/20 on the Thursday for both eyes. Dr Selim arranged a further follow up and plenty of Meds which Batuhan took me to get from the Chemist. I returned with My Wife on the Saturday and could read all of the eye test card, right to the bottom. Batuhan also arranged a further consultation with a Dr to look at my arthritic hands and fingers, which was great too, very professional throughout and I would highly recommend these Gentlemen who seem to take a lot of pride in their work. Eye Surgeon was Dr. SELIM. Special Nurse Batuhan assisted and arranged and attended all meetings, transportation etc. A great experience throughout. Highly recommended.

From the get-go, the communication and response time was great. I was fully informed of the procedure and costs. Transfers were provided and the driver was courteous and friendly. The patient coordinator was knowledgeable. Dr Selim Guldiken was professional and also talked me through the procedure of having pan optic lenses step by step. The aftercare after each surgery was second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend having this procedure done.

I had my laser eye surgery with Risus Clinic, and I am happy with the service and treatment. I think coming from the UK, I expected more testing and more information than I was given, but the treatment went well.

His representive gives full details of procedure so it is clear on what to expect and is extremely helpful Every detail of my trip to Antalya was well executed.My pick up and transfer to Hotel was excellent. My stay at Hotel was excellent. Pick up for consultation and service at clinics excellent. Dr.Bahadir was thorough and extensive Surgery performed with minimal pain. After new lense fitted eye sight and vision improved 100 percent. Follow up with Dr Bahadir before leave Antalya was excellent. It was a great pleasure to meet Dr Ebru. She is a not only a wonderful ophthalmologist but also a compassionate and happy soul. She took great care and very professionally performed cataract surgery on my both eyes. She is very dedicated to her work and patients and answered every concern in detail before surgery. After surgery, she examined my eyes couple of times and was always available to answer any questions. She was genuinely interested in my health and well-being. Trifocal Lens Replacement (LASIK) I am not a person who normally writes reviews but I feel so strongly about the hugely positive experience from start to finish. First contact was communicating via WhatsApp with Burak. I could sense straight away how genuine he was from the first few messages and was very informative and knowledgeable. He greeted me at the clinic and again it was evident that he is an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman going above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and understood exactly what was happening. We actually ended up having quite a lot in common but he is the type of man that has amazing customer care skills and will ensure all patients are at ease. The customer care from the whole team is absolutely top class from the drivers, all the nurses, the admin staff, obviously Burak and the incredible surgeon Dr Eser Catal. Dr Eser and his team completed the surgery with amazing efficiency and extraordinary skills and I was incredibly relaxed and comfortable the whole time which was not very long. The attention to detail in the theatre was second to none. Absolutely nothing is left to chance and they are incredibly disciplined about cleanliness and procedural rules. Dr Eser is obviously and incredible surgeon but he also has an amazing, caring nature and you feel completely at ease and confident in his care. Immediately after the procedure I wore sun glasses to protect my eyes from the light which is standard. Burak then escorted me from the theatre to the pharmacy next door to organise eye drops and wrote on the boxes a simplified order to apply them 1L and 1R 2L and 2R etc. He escorted me to the waiting VIP transfer waiting and off I went back to my hotel with a pair of glasses in my right hand which were now about as useful as an ashtray on a rollercoaster and in my left hand my mobile phone which I was reading with absolute ease which is absolutely life changing. I was close to tears. Burak with military precision organised a further 2 quick follow up check up appointments and again they check everything is all good. Again, firstly I cannot overemphasise the level of customer care and professionalism I personally received from the whole team. Secondly, the price of this procedure at Orbit is fantastic compared to the UK. It was actually the best priced in Antalya also as I compared various clinics. I organised this around a 2 week family holiday along with some dental work with ease. Thirdly and most importantly, as a 47 year old. man that has worn glasses since I was 16 years old, this has been a life changing experience and I am sitting here reading and wring this review with 20/20 vision.
