I lived in New York U.S.A. I have planned to do the hair Transplant with Promed. I get connected with the medical consultant Harris, a really cool guy he helped me a lot I have tons of question so he answered every single of them I got convinced and finally I decided to travel to Turkey. Three weeks ago I reached there, its early morning driver was there on the airport to pick me up and he took me straight to the clinic. Until now everything was smooth and I am pretty satisfied.
In the clinic, I met another person who examined and said your donor area is not enough so we need to extract some follicles from beard as well which cost you 250 euros more, once you get there you have no choice as you need to get things done so be ready for last minute charges. I said ok then I paid all the money and when I asked for a receipt they said we will give you when you will come for washing your head so until today I came back to America but I didn’t get the receipt. They transferred me to the hospital from the clinic where the final procedure has to carry out.
In the hospital the whole staff was very very nice, they took care of me very well. It takes almost 7 hours to complete the procedure then the driver pick me up and dropped to the hotel. It was nice clean hotel. So on third day of operation they again took me to the clinic where they take out the bandage and did the washing. Then I met with Harris for the first time and asked about the post ops, medication, shampoo, serum and vitamins at that time the clinic staff wanted to charge me more for that now Harris speaks up for me and asked they only took a little graft from his beard and why you want to again charge him then they gave that package to me.
In total I spend 1800 euro in which I get 8 nights and seven days in a hotel with 6 month post operation stuff. The one thing I am missing is they said they will give platelet treatment but I believe I didn’t get it because whenever they start injecting something to your head they shout out its local anaesthesia or now we start harvesting but they didn’t tell me that they are about to inject plasma, later on when I open my package detail in that it was missing as well.
As I have only dollars with me so the first lady charged me accurately whatever I have the rate of that day she applied that but second time the other lady billed me extra and didn’t give me the conversion rate which was showing online. So if I have to rate Promed I would say 3 out of Five. As you have to ready for last minute charges and their arrogant clinic staff plus post operation online staff, if you ask ten questions you will get answer of two. Plus the doctor who draw the lines where the transplant is needed also left couple of spots so consider all this if you have a plan to visit Promed make everything clear before booking your flight. Look for Harris when contact through whatsapp, if you find him he is really helpful.
