RLE - Refractive Lens Exchange Worldwide

Due to a previous history of retinal detachment in both eyes, I had cataract surgery done recently at the clinic by Dr Selva, a retinal specialist. He did an excellent job - very reassuring in his manner, and highly competent as a surgeon. One of the best I have met.

Seen within a few minutes of arriving by DR. D Troshev. I needed a small eye procedure, YAG laser. Which was done there and then! Both my husband and myself were overwhelmed by the professional staff and the team. We will be using this clinic again!

I needed cataract surgery that was affordable. Dr Kumar provided this and so much more. Throughout the experience, I felt as if I was in the hands of a highly professional, caring and skilled surgeon. The surgery was performed under local anaesthesia; not something is usually done in the US. Having now experienced both styles of anaesthesia for this procedure (I had the other eye done in the US years ago with much better health insurance) I can say that two styles of surgery are equally stress-less. The savings factor was large. After calculating all the costs including travel, lodging and meals, I saved over $1000.00. The medical care was excellent and the value is tremendous. The clinic served as a basic office for Dr Kumar. The actual procedure was performed at a nearby speciality hospital (it seem all doctor offices are termed as clinics in India). The facilities are simple but equipped with all that is needed. The staff was very professional and caring. Not all spoke English but arrangements were made prior to my arrival to see that I always had English speaking staff to help me through the process.

We can't thank Dr Wilson enough for the special and excellent care provided and for the unique gift you are to your patients. We have great confidence in his abilities and with grateful thanks to his team. My husband’s cataract was extremely dense, with dry eyes and zero vision on his left eye. With Dr Wilson's professional hand in removing the hard-rock cataract and 2 sutures in the eye. My husband was able to regain some blurry vision back even though he had glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Wonderful doctor. I have had a fantastic result with upper eyelid surgery in June 2023 6 days after the operation I feel and look fabulous. This surgeon is kind sympathetic to your needs gentle and tells you upfront what your treatment and recovery will be like. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Before we arrived in Cyprus we were able to check out Dr Eleni Loukianou on your site and we were able to see that she has a specific specialization in my husband's condition. She immediately responded to our email and once we arrived we contacted her and made an appointment for my husband to see her. She carefully explained what she was able to do, and answered all of our questions. We will make a further appointment and she will start his treatment here in Cyprus. We are so grateful that the treatment for his AMD can be continued here.
