BodiKind in Crawley Down offers Podiatry, Chiropody and professional foot care. All the team are fully qualified, insured and registered with the HCPC. We are easy to locate and have free clinic and surrounding parking. BodiKind offer general foot care/treatment; nail cutting, fungal concerns, verrucae, corns, callus, hard skin removal. We treat ingrown toenails and are experienced at nail surgery. At BodiKind we also assess gait and biomechanics, analysing the way you walk and run,looking closely at the posture and performance of bones, ligaments, muscles and tendons.

Miss Heather Waddington

Biography:

Heather graduated from the University of Brighton with a first class honours degree. With an interest in research, her work was presented and certificated at the World Podiatry Conference in Rome. Heather has close links with the University of Brighton and is currently conducting an exciting new research project on the effects of a systemic disease on the lower limb, with the aim to be published and presented at the French Podiatry Conference in Paris

Biography:

Duane works part-time at BodiKind, along side his other part-time role as a podiatrist in Surrey. With years experience within the NHS, Duane has previously worked with the deaf community after obtaining a level 2 in British Sign Language. 

Duane has also accomplished a diploma in hypnotherapy and a Master's Degree in Psychotherapy. He completed his Bachelors Degree in Podiatry at the University of Brighton and now has a surgical interest, carrying out minor surgery at BodiKind.

Biography:

Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist 

James qualified from the University of Brighton in 2005 in Podiatry. He has worked in the University hospital treating a wide variety of patients including children, those with chronic disease and those with complex musculoskeletal problems. Not only lecturing he also taught clinical practice to a variety of health professional students, such as; Podiatrists, Medics, Nurses and Pharmacists.

Having completed his Masters degree in Podiatry in 2011 he progressed within the University to Senior Lecturer position leading much of the pathology and pharmacology teaching within the division and up until recently, given his interest in pharmaco-therapeutics, was the course leader for the Independent prescribing program for Podiatrists and Physiotherapists.

All the while James has continued to develop his clinical skills and recently completed courses in 2D & 3D kinetics and kinematics, advanced musculoskeletal assessment and diagnostics and mobilisation and manipulation techniques for lower limb problems.

James has been an invited speaker to conferences both nationally and internationally and continues to volunteer to provide podiatric care to runners at the London Marathon.
