The Family Practice Medical Centre has provided medical care for patients of all ages for the last thirty years.The Medical Centre inTramore is an old established family medical practice run for many years by Dr. Hugh O’Brien-Moran from the Lower Branch Road in Tramore. We have a team of experienced doctors who are specialists  in general practice. We each have additional areas of expertise which include Sports  Medicine ,Women's Health,Family Planning, Antenatal care,Mental illness and psychological health, child and adolescent health,Cryotherapy,Chronic Disease Management. and Occupational Health We are a GP training practice and specialise in Medical Education. We are affiliated to the South East GP training scheme and UL medical school.We have two experienced Practice Nurses who each have additional specialisations: Maternity,Spirometry, Respiratory disease including Asthma and COPD, Diabetes.

This is a private practice hence there is little/no waiting -time to see the doctors . This is particularly suitable for busy people and enables them to get back to business /work . It facilitates and encourages people to attend for health checks as often delays and waiting can be disincentives and result even in people neglecting health check -ups . There are 2 doctors;G.P.s  ,1 psychologist  ;counsellor, 1 chiropodist and 1 physical therapist here .Opening Hours:  Mon-Fri: 10am - 12pm, 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 7pm. Sat: 10am - 12pm Please note we do not accept GMS or Medical Card patients.
