Dominiki qualified in 1998 at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Dentistry with an outstanding student class rank and financial honours. She was awarded a scholarship for her MClinDent degree, sponsored by the State Scholarship Institute (IKY) in Periodontics at the Royal London Hospital, which she completed with distinction in 2001. Following completion of her training in the department of Periodontology at the Royal London, she was offered a clinical academic lecturer appointment with Bart's and the London NHS Trust.
