I went to see Dr Nikolaos Kasiteridis at Forest and Ray as I was having complex problems with some upper teeth, including a front tooth, a difficult situation for anyone! I am extremely grateful to Dr Nikolaos who was a marvel; he went the extra mile for me as a dentist who wants the best possible outcome for his patient’s health, at the same time incorporating high technical ability with cosmetic expertise. I can safely say that Dr Nikolaos excels in all these areas, his wealth of experience and long service to the practice speak for themselves, and he is a real professional. He digs deep to do the best he can with any of your dental problems. He has helped me in so many ways to overcome my fears and complexes in relation to my teeth. Ultrasonic scaling is a standard procedure performed during a hygiene consultation to remove plaque and tartar buildup from the teeth and gums. A dental hygienist performs the procedure. Before starting, a thorough examination of the teeth and gums may precede it.It is a kind of cleaning that uses a unique instrument called an ultrasonic scaler uses high-frequency vibrations and a fine stream of water to break up and remove the buildup of plaque and tartar from the teeth. The scaler is designed to be gentle on the teeth and gums while effectively removing stubborn deposits that cannot be removed by brushing and flossing alone. I had a broken tooth that was very sharp against my tongue. I also had a tooth that suddenly fell out. I rang Toni on Wednesday afternoon after seeing her review online plus she was close to home. My appointment was the next day. I can only reiterate the views. She was lovely very efficient, sorted me how with no hassle or pain. When I went to pay her I expected to pay a lot of money. She is the cheapest dentist I have had. The clinic is clean and professional, I had an X-ray (included in the fee) and Toni will phone me with the results to see if I need more treatment. Very highly recommended.
