Prof Dimitris Emmanouil
Biography:
He specialized in Paediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, USA. He holds a Masters Degree from Marquette University, USA, a PhD from the University of Athens and a Diploma in Clinical Research from Harvard University.
For his research has received the “Dental Anesthesia Award” from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and “Best Research Award” from the American Academy of Paediatric Dentistry.
He is an Assistant Professor of Paediatric Dentisty at the University of Athens Dental School and is currently teaching at the Graduate Pediatric Dentistry Department of Kings Dental College and St Thomas Hospital.
He has served as President of ADSE, the American Dental Society of Europe, the oldest society in Europe, only after to the International Red Cross. Since it was established in 1873 has had a major impact throughout the world by influencing the dental profession and claiming as its members many of the world’s leading dentists at any one time.
