BDS FDSRCPS MSc MOrthRCS GDC Number: 63477 She graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1988. She gained considerable experience in many of the specialities within dentistry before undertaking her post-graduate training at the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke. Having gained her post-graduate orthodontic qualifications, she established Abbey Orthodontics in 1998.

GDC Number: 148556 She has been dental nursing for many years and is a fully qualified Dental Nurse. She has wide experience in both private and NHS sectors. She has been with the Abbey Orthodontics team since 1998 when she helped Dr Weeks set up the practice.

GDC Number: 148271 She is responsible for welcoming new patient’s to the practice on their first visit. Discussing any treatment options after Dr Weeks has examined them. She qualified as a dental nurse in 1976 and worked for the school dental service with her father for 4 years. After marrying she left dentistry to have a family, but returned to general dentistry in 1991. In 1998 she became an orthodontic nurse at Abbey Orthodontics. She gained her qualification in radiography from Portsmouth University in 1999.

Miriam qualified as a dental nurse in 1985. She took a break from dentistry while he family were smaller. On returning to orthodontics she trained to be an Oral Health educator and Dental Radiographer. She is here to support patients with their oral health. Miriam has also trained to take dental impressions.
