I first visited Ladygrove Dental Practice because, like many people, had neglected my teeth over the years and found myself with an absyss above one of my back teeth. I was assigned to Amardeep Singh Johal (known as AJ). Once the absyss was sorted and the offending tooth extracted AJ offered me a choice and range of treatments, always asking me if I thought I needed changes and never pushing me. I had 2 awful looking front crowns which were well over their sell-by date. AJ offered me a smile makeover - treatment which involved 2 new front crowns and veneers for my upper teeth which I really liked the sound of and decided to go ahead with the treatment. At all stages of the treatment AJ talked me through procedures and made sure I was happy and comfortable at all times. I have been in and out of dentists since I broke my front teeth at the age of 8 and I can say hand on heart that AJ is the most thorough dentist I have ever been under. I have never had detailed photos of my teeth taken before. It was a pleasure to be under his care and his nurse Heidi was also an absolute delight always making sure I was happy and comfortable. The receptionists are lovely and friendly and made time to converse with me. I love my new smile and I have had great feedback from friends and family. Thank you AJ.

I am so happy with the dental treatment that I have received at this practice. After losing several teeth due to neglect, I have recently had some dental implants completed to replace a denture. I can’t thank the surgery and Abi enough for giving me back my smile. The dental care I have received has been both professional and caring!

My story started just under 2 years ago. Bpi dentists had been recommended. Everything was explained to me in great detail and a report given to me. I have seen 3 different dentists who specialize in their own fields. The work I have done has been done to a very high standard, and I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. Special thanks to Mr. Chowdry and Jas, the hygienist. Staff are very personable, and always a warm welcome. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I have been receiving treatment for a number of years at Cape Rd Dental Practice including a couple of painless extractions by Anna and regular hygiene therapy by Danni - Stella and the ladies on reception and all of the staff make each visit relaxed and stress free. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for any kind of dental treatment.

Although I am 72 years of age I am still a very nervous patient, due to having horrific treatment as a child. Mike Edwards and indeed his nurse Carolyn are absolutely amazing, they put me at ease and reassure me. Explain what they are going to do and give me time. I’ve had extractions and recently had a new denture of which I’m delighted. I cannot express my gratitude enough to them both, so if you are thinking of going to a new Dentist but are frightened PLEASE give Mike a chance to work his magic. One very very grateful patient. Had the best ever treatment off Dr Sharkawi … he is wonderful dentist who helped me get my smile back. My treatment was brilliant. I had a composite/veneer. Sophia makes me feel at ease, she is chatty & reassuring throughout treatment. She explains everything she is doing and is very thorough. She is an excellent dentist & genuinely cares about the patient & the work she does to your teeth. All the staff at the practice are very professional and lovely people. I always feel welcome.

Absolutely outstanding dental practise with the highest quality of knowledge, skill and experience and techniques too, moreover friendly, welcoming, furthermore super hygienic which is especially important during the pandemic. I’ve got immediate help to avoid being in a dangerous health condition on Saturday afternoon - basically after the opening time. Not only having sorted out my painful problem but fixing my from tooth too, which gave me back my confidence, also the freedom to be able to bite properly, to speak clearly again and to smile happily without mask too! Thank you for the superb treatments, for humanity too from Dr Muirhead and from Gillian too!

I went to this dentist after Smile had advised during a routine check up that I had one, possibly two infections in my upper front teeth that required root canal treatment in excess of 2k. I went to Acorn as I wanted a second opinion, CT scan showed there was no infection at all and no work was required. My X-ray, Scan and consultation was carried out an hour after I rang at a cost of £225 and well worth the money for peace of mind. The equipment is second to none and the professional manner and service was very much appreciated. Thank you !
