My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.
I came into the surgery to see the hygienist, and then the dentist for a check-up. Both the Dentist and Hygienist were really good and very calming. Shelby the hygienist was very professional and gentle, and she gave me some good teeth-cleaning tips that I found really helpful, and that I'll try to use in future.
Dapo and the team make for excellent preventive care and treatment. The reception and the premises are generally very reassuring and friendly. I actually enjoy seeing my dentist! I recently had an old filling repaired after a problem was picked up by the hygienist, Hannah. I have a payment policy with the practice which is very good value for all the standard reviews and treatment I have ever needed. Explanations are good and questions are welcomed. I cannot thank Jo Giddy enough for the excellent work she has done in providing me with new dentures. The attention to detail in making the new dentures look so natural and fit so precisely is much appreciated. Jo took several impressions to ensure that the new metal horseshoe-shaped dentures fit with no gaps for food traps, were exceptionally comfortable to wear, and provided me with a smile that looked natural. Previously, I had a denture that made me embarrassed to smile, due to my teeth being uneven from gum disease. Now, I can smile for the first time in many years and eat food that was previously impossible to eat.
