At last I've found a way of leaving a review! I have been going to Abi for hygienist treatment for about four years and she is always cheerful, careful and friendly. She knows to have the paste ready for me to deaden any pain! She's great! I also want to say how fantastic Stratos is as a dentist. I have had two appointments with him, the first being a check-up. The most recent was this week when I needed urgent treatment for a tooth that was aching. It turned out to be in a bad state and needed to be extracted. Following a very traumatic extraction five years ago at another practice (the dentist has fortunately now retired) I was very nervous indeed but Stratos put me at ease and it didn't hurt much at all - really! I was so grateful to him and his assistant.
My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.

Jo took several impressions to ensure that the new metal horseshoe-shaped dentures fit with no gaps for food traps, were exceptionally comfortable to wear, and provided me with a smile that looked natural. Previously, I had a denture that made me embarrassed to smile, due to my teeth being uneven from gum disease. Now, I can smile for the first time in many years and eat food that was previously impossible to eat. Thank you, Jo, for your patience and attention to detail in providing me with a denture that will last for the rest of my life.
