I have been a patient here for over fifty years. A very nervous, frightened one, who has normally needed sedating. Last month I became a patient of a new dentist, Freddy, who had joined the practice. A very professional, kind man, who immediately made me feel at ease, and built my confidence. I had a back tooth removed and a big filling.

He talked me through every bit of the procedure, was so patient, didn't rush me, and gave me every opportunity to have a break or ask a question. It went so well and I was so proud, I had done this whilst awake.

I could not have done this without the dentists understanding of my terror. I cannot recommend him higher. All of the staff are professional, courteous and friendly, everything runs smoothly and efficiently in a very up to date, clean safe environment.

Visited the clinic today for a check-up, got to have a filling and an extraction. I’m a very nervous patient who cannot get in the chair for treatment without gas and air but the staff are wonderful, very reassuring.

Although I am very anxious about my appointment next week and will inevitably have sleepless nights, my stress levels are 50% less than they would be if I was going elsewhere. The bill wasn’t so nice, £650 but I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Always felt comfortable attending dental appointments during COVID. Every precaution is taken. Have been going to the practice for years and always been treated with the utmost care, kindness and friendliness. This has continued through this upsetting time, Having been today for my routine check-up, X-rays and scale/polish I can’t fault any of the procedures and care I have received.

My husband and I went for our umpteenth decade half-yearly checkup with Anita. We were met by the efficient and friendly Nicola from reception at the appointed time at the door. Covid precautions were excellent and we were the only patients in the waiting room. As we were ready to leave the next patient arrived pressing the front doorbell. Nicola let us out by the side door before letting the next patient in by the front door. We felt completely safe and at ease from beginning to end.

I recently moved from Teesside to Chesterfield and was worried about finding a new dentist in Chesterfield. I visited the practice for a check-up and a hygienist appointment today. I was impressed with the service I received and the staff were remarkable and put me at ease.

I have been a patient of Christopher Holden's dental practice for approximately 27 years. I have been more than impressed with the treatment and care I have received. I never feel nervous about having treatment as the staff have instilled me with trust. I always speak highly of the practice to my friends and work colleagues. I have been a patient at this practice for the past 13years, and have always found the whole team to be very professional whilst at the same time putting the patient at ease. During these worrying times of the pandemic, I have felt totally confident that the practice has done everything possible to ensure the safety of patients and staff and would have no hesitation in encouraging anyone to attend when necessary. After neglecting my teeth for years, having been terrified of dental procedures, I became a patient of Dr Holden. I received reassurance and understanding and have always been treated respectfully. I don't think I could have found a better dental practice anywhere. The staff members are pleasant and polite and although I am still a little nervous, the standard of treatment is exceptional and this along with the pleasant and positive attitude of the team, gives me the confidence to keep attending.

I am one of those very 'anxious' patients often associated with dental care. My fears stem from memories of the School Dental Service around in the 1950s. I have been with this practice for around 20 years since returning to live in Chesterfield, following several 9recommendations. Christopher and his team help me greatly with my anxieties. They are quietly reassuring and supportive during any treatment.

Fortunately Christopher offers conscious sedation if required and I always feel very safe in his care and that of his nurses. I recently attended a for a routine checkup and was extremely confident with all the Covid safety measures in place. This is a superb dental practice with the highest standards and up to date care.

A well run dental surgery I had fillings everything is covid prepared. Anita and all the staff are wonderful so helpful and obliging. 5 stars.

Recently attended for a check-up and to see the hygienist. Staff were very friendly and professional as usual. All appropriate measures were in place due to Covid restrictions and were easy to follow. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or at risk. Thank you for your care!
