Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal: I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal. I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul. I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period. After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal. 6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am! My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels. I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth. Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable! Thank you Dr. Baysal and team. My teeth are shining white and this has helped me to regain my self-confidence.

I visited Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital on August 5th 2024 to get 3 implants and a bone graft. From my first contact to the last my experience was very good. I have scheduled initial consultation via email as I was coming from the US and everything at the Hospital was ready for my arrival. Mr. Atakan Sumer, my translator, was very helpful and made sure I understood my options for treatment, and everything about the procedures. The operation was organized very efficiently on the same day, and took about 2 hours. I got prescription for antibiotics, pain medicine, mouthwash and nasal spray, and Mr. Atakan was kind enough to walk with me to the drug store to fill the prescription. He contacted me afterwards to make sure I was feeling ok after operation, and I am happy to say that a month later my mouth is healing nicely, and I am looking forward to getting crowns installed during my next visit to Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital.

I believe in giving credit where it is due and Risus Clinic truly deserves this support. From the moment I arrived at Istanbul Airport, I felt cared for and comfortable. My doctor is a very friendly and professional doctor, as is the entire Risus Clinic team. I am very careful, but his experience and the way he explained the operation gave me confidence in his ability to carry out the work safely and efficiently. I had Mommy makeover done From the nurses to the hotel staff to the drivers, everyone was professional, friendly, supportive and friendly; They really made me feel at home and I'm grateful. I was wearing full dentures for three months after losing all of my teeth, but I couldn't get used to them, so I started considering getting implant-supported fixed dentures, so I wouldn't have to take them out and could eat and look better. As I was planning a business trip to Istanbul, I began looking for a doctor who specialises in prosthodontics when I discovered Uzmanlar Dental Clinic. I received a free online consultation in which we discussed how many implants I needed and how long the treatment would take. They recommended a few nice hotels, and I booked my hotel and flight. They helped me with getting from Sabiha Gokcen airport in Istanbul to my hotel. Dr. Kodan placed 12 implants in total. I was completely numb and didn't feel any pain or discomfort. After one week in Istanbul, he gave me temporary teeth that were very comfortable and aesthetic, allowing me to eat normally and continue my social life during the three months it will take for implants to be integrated into my bone. After a week, I left Turkey for the UK, returning three months later to receive my final prostheses. They planned my smile makeover digitally and we had some tryouts; the entire treatment was completed after a week, and I'm very pleased with the results. A very professional team that makes you feel that you are in the right hands. Overall experience was perfect with Clinic Center from the beginning to the end. Before the treatment, I had a detailed consultation and the dentist with the team was very friendly and helpful. The communication was perfect, and the dentist and assistants were speaking good English. The treatment was good to come again. Clean clinic, friendly staff and a great hotel! The Clinic Center team was always with me from the moment that I arrived until departure.
