I needed a perfect smile for work

5 50 Dentist Consultation • Paid: $3200

I needed a perfect smile for work. I had work done in Mexico on the top in 2009 I was haveing some problems with the original work and my bottom teeth needed a makeover. A guide took me to Dr. Marquez because I was upset that the dentist I originally made an appointment for was very young with no experience and I knew that I needed major work done.
Dr. Marquez took me in and began the work. He has been a dentist in Nuevo progress for 33 years and was very knowledgeable and extremely competent in dentistry. His staff speaks English well enough to explain what they are doing and why and carry on a conversation.
In four days I had 3 root canals, 2 extractions and had 20 crowns placed. Dr. Marquez explained that the original crowns were not sealed properly and that was the reason for the failure and took necessary steps to assure the new crowns were sealed properly. The pain from this work was very minimal and I would recommend Dr. Marquez to anyone needing dental restorations at reasonable prices
To anyone new to crossing the border for dental work, research the dental clinics and read reviews.
Dr. Marquez is a dentist that I will continue to travel from Georgia annually for checkups and care.

My experience was awesome.

Bone Graft

Bone Graft - Miguel Márquez Dental ClinicBone Graft - Miguel Márquez Dental Clinic

Bone Graft is $ 300 dollars per gram.

This is the process in which the dentist uses bone grafts to build up a thin or shrunken jawbone. If you are considering an implant but dental x-rays and/or CAT scan show that you have a thin jawbone as a result of bone loss then a graft will be necessary

Your jaw may show advanced bone loss as a result of the ageing process, prolonged denture wear, missing teeth, periodontal gum disease or as a result of an accident.

Adult Braces

Adult Braces - Miguel Márquez Dental ClinicAdult Braces - Miguel Márquez Dental Clinic

Teeth can shift with age - because of injury, a condition called tongue thrust, or natural growth – and some adults find that their previously straight teeth have become crooked and overcrowded. They may start experiencing jaw pain, having difficulty properly cleaning their teeth, or simply facing a smile they find unattractive.

Other adults get braces because they've always had crooked teeth, but their parents couldn't afford to pay for braces when they were growing up. Finally, some people say they're just finally getting around to it, or that they want straighter teeth for a new career.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic Braces - Miguel Márquez Dental ClinicCeramic Braces - Miguel Márquez Dental Clinic

Ceramic braces are very much biocompatible with natural teeth. They don’t stain your teeth like metal braces do. Patients are more comfortable with ceramic orthodontic braces and prefer them to metallic braces. After the removal of braces, teeth will bear a natural shiny look as there will be no stain marks and no need of extra whitening treatment.

In the past, children who wore braces usually began their orthodontic treatment as teenagers. But now, orthodontists (dentists who specialize in correcting the position of the teeth) suggest starting younger for better results. Children should be evaluated for braces by age 7, according to the American Association of Orthodontics.

Dental Bonding

Dental Bonding - Miguel Márquez Dental ClinicDental Bonding - Miguel Márquez Dental Clinic

Bonding is a composite resin filling placed in the back teeth as well as the front teeth. Composites are the solution for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements and even changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth. Bonding will lighten any stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct crooked teeth. Basically, bonding will cover any natural flaws applying a thin coating of a plastic material on the front surface of your teeth. After this, your cosmetic dentist will apply a bonding material and sculpt, color and shape it to provide a pleasing result. A high-intensity light then hardens the plastic, and the surface is finely polished.

Dental Bridges

Dental Bridges - Miguel Márquez Dental ClinicDental Bridges - Miguel Márquez Dental Clinic

Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap – these two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth – and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.

A dental implant provides several advantages over other tooth replacement options. In addition to looking and functioning like a natural tooth, a dental implant replaces a single tooth without sacrificing the health of neighboring teeth. The other common treatment for the loss of a single tooth, a tooth-supported fixed bridge, requires that adjacent teeth be ground down to support the cemented bridge.

Dentures (also known as false teeth) are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable, however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants. There are two main categories of dentures, depending on whether they are used to replace missing teeth on the mandibular arch or the maxillary arch.

Acrylic Dentures

Acrylic dentures are replacement teeth and gums that are made out of acrylic, a versatile and easily moldable plastic. Dentures made of acrylic are useful when people have lost most or all of their teeth. While so-called partials are made for people who have lost only some of their teeth, dentures are for people who have lost all of their teeth to decay or accident or had them pulled as a result of disease. Dentures also can be made out of materials other than acrylic, including chrome and titanium

Dentures Repair

This is because as you age your mouth changes shape and this causes your denture to have a looser fit – ie the plates will move about more in your mouth as you are talking or chewing food. This means that the plastic is repeatedly flexed where the suction is trying to keep it in your mouth

A drill is then used to access the pulp chamber and associated canals of the tooth. Using flexible nickel titanium pin-like files, the dentist will delicately (but thoroughly) cleanse the length of the canals and tip (or apex) of the root to completely remove all traces of infection or debris. This process is performed with a great deal of care in order to minimize damage or trauma to the surrounding ligaments and bone. To accomplish this, the dentist may use additional tools to measure the root. These tools may include digital X-rays taken during the cleaning phase, an apex locator that works as a sonar probe to locate the tip of the root and a microscope providing up to 32-times magnification.

The space inside the tooth from the center, known as the pulp chamber, that travels down the length of the root to the tip (or apex) is called a "canal," or more specifically, a root canal. Human teeth may have one to four root canals, depending on the anatomy of the tooth. Molars, may have 2 to 4 canals, premolars may have 1 to 2 canals, cuspids may have 1 to 2 canals, and finally incisors generally have 1 canal. Extra canals may branch out from the main canal, called "accessory canals." The number of canals and the anatomy can vary among teeth.

Teeth cleaning is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontal disease. People routinely clean their own teeth by brushing and interdental cleaning, and dental hygienists can remove hardened deposits not removed by routine cleaning. Those with dentures and natural teeth may supplement their cleaning with a denture cleaner.

In dentistry, a veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer, composite and dental porcelain. A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth), or indirectly fabricated by a dental technician in a dental laboratory, and later bonded to the tooth, typically using a resin cement such as Panavia. In contrast, a porcelain veneer may only be indirectly fabricated.
