I have been attending Sullivan Dental in Carlow for about a year now. Initially very reluctant as I have a huge fear dating back to my childhood from a very traumatic experience. The anxiety, the knot in my stomach, the cold, the shaking, and the exhaustion were so real. Over time and with the help of a very special team my fear reduced each time. I was there again on Friday and I was relaxed and I felt safe. John had to leave the room for a minute and I was just thinking I feel calm, the fear is gone. The treatment and the equipment have developed so much. A simple thing like wearing black glasses also is a huge help. The team be it John the dentist or Aoife my Hygienist tell me how long each section is going to take so if you know it’s 30 seconds it makes it easier to process in your head. I was also told to tell them if I needed a break so by saying that to me, I felt I had a bit of control too. All those years ago I was not listened to, I had no voice but now I have a caring team who listen, respect and understand. Aoife is truly amazing and I thank her for the huge part she has played in alleviating my fear. Thanks so much to all the team. I highly recommend Sullivan Dental to everyone but especially to anyone who has had a fear of dentists. 5 ⭐️ and more.

A very professional modern practice, with friendly staff, and very up-to-date imaging equipment. The clinic always informs you of all findings and treatments to be carried out which is reassuring to say the least. John O Sullivan is a consummate professional always and I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Probably the best dentistry practice in Carlow. The staff are always so nice and helpful. They're incredibly good with people who have had bad experiences in other places. The hygienist is such a nice person and makes the experience as easy as possible. Definitely recommend this practice

I attend Sullivan Dental in Carlow for the last couple of years. John and his team are very professional and give a quality service at an affordable price. The treatment areas are lovely and well-maintained. The staff are knowledgeable and I always have a positive experience on my visits there. In 2023 John noted an issue in my mouth, which was significant for me and following his advice the issue was resolved successfully within a short timeframe. I highly recommend Sullivan Dental.

Brought kids in for checkup, I've had fillings and extractions there. Everything is explained to you on easy terms, they tell you what you need to do. Pain free, quick procedures, not like dentists from years ago.

Absolutely brillliant. Great staff If you are a nervous patient, and they make you feel relaxed! Brilliant with the kids as well, my kids didn't mind going to the dentist when I first took them to John. He doesn't lecture you or talk down to you or anything like a lot of dentists do.

I had to get a deep filling, Dr carried if out, as the tooth was sensitive he took great care and was patient with anaesthesia and made it a pain free success story.

Very pleased with the treatment and staff, I was very nervous they made me feel at ease its a friendly relaxed place, Very happy with everything.
John is so nice explains everything very clearly that i can understand.
