The correction of prominent ears requires surgery called otoplasty. An otoplasty can be performed in adults or adolescents, but most of the time this surgery can be done from the age of 7, when the child start to complain about his appearance and suffers.

While the shape of the nose is usually the result of heredity ; the appearance may have been altered in an injury or during prior surgery or simply by aging. Also known as rhinoplasty, surgery of the nose can change the morphology of the nasal pyramid (either partially or totally) by improving the appearance and proportion of the nose. The goal is to get a nose look natural, harmonious with other facial features and enhancing self confidence. The procedure, performed as well in women than in men, can be scheduled at the end of growth starting at 16 years old.
