Plastic Surgery

Breast Implants

Breast size is important to many women for a variety if reasons. When a patient is dissatisfied with her breast size, augmentation surgery is a choice to consider. Breast augmentation can :

• Increase fullness and projection of the breasts

• Improve the balance of the patient’s figure

• Enhance self-image and self confidence.

The procedure involves using silicone implants to fulfill the patient’s desire for fuller breasts or to restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy.

Breast Lift

The ptosis is defined by a collapse of the gland and a distension of the skin envelope. The breast is positioned low and more frequently, “uninhabited” in its upper part.

Eyelid surgery

Cosmetic eyelid surgery called Blepharoplasty aims at correcting signs of aging present on the eyelids and replace the “tired” look of the eye with a more rested and relaxed appearance.

Indications for surgery are:

- Loose or sagging skin that creates folds or hides the natural contour of the upper eyelid

- Excess skin that hangs down from the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision

- Excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelid

- Bags under the eyes

- Droopiness of the lower eyelids, showing white below the iris

- Excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid.

The procedure can be performed starting at 30 years old. Lower eyelid surgery can be indicated in young patients, as some “fat pockets” can be seen in young women or men.

Eye Lift

Facelift

The operation is designed to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck such as sagging in the midface, deep creases below the lower eyelids, deep creases between the nose and mouth, fat that has fallen or is displaced, loss of muscle tone in the lower face that may create jowls and loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw. A facelift is designed to correct all of these aging features, restoring a more youthful , rested appearance with uplifted contours and improved tone in facial skin and underlying muscle. Face and neck are somehow ‘reconstructed’ and ‘restructured’.

Mini Facelift

Fat Transfer

Gynecomastia

This procedure is common in young men and is source of discomfort and impair their self confidence.

This pathology is characterized by :

- excess localized fat

- excess glandular tissue development

- a combination of both excess fat and glandular tissue

- gynecomastia may present unilaterally ( one breast) or bilaterally ( both breasts).

Liposuction

Liposuction can remove radically and permanently localized fat excess. Liposuction is not a method of weight loss and its goal is not to control the weight of the patient or the patient. Despite good health and a reasonable level of fitness, some people may still have a body with disproportionate contours due to localized fat deposits. These areas may be due to family traits rather than a lack of weight control or fitness. Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposit, improving body contours and proportion, and ultimately enhancing the patient’s self-image. It can be applied to many regions of the body: “saddlebags” of course, but the hips, buttocks, abdomen, thighs, knees, calves, ankles, upper arms and chest area . Technical improvements have also helped to extend its action in the face and neck such as cheek, chin and neck.

Neck Lift

Otoplasty

The correction of prominent ears requires surgery called otoplasty. An otoplasty can be performed in adults or adolescents, but most of the time this surgery can be done from the age of 7, when the child start to complain about his appearance and suffers.

Rhinoplasty

While the shape of the nose is usually the result of heredity ; the appearance may have been altered in an injury or during prior surgery or simply by aging.

Also known as rhinoplasty, surgery of the nose can change the morphology of the nasal pyramid (either partially or totally) by improving the appearance and proportion of the nose. The goal is to get a nose look natural, harmonious with other facial features and enhancing self confidence.

The procedure, performed as well in women than in men, can be scheduled at the end of growth starting at 16 years old.

Surgery of the nose may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose.

Rhinoplasty can change :

- Nose size, in relation to facial balance

- Nose width, at the bridge or in the size and position of the nostrils

- Nose profile, with visible humps or depressions on the bridge

- Nasal tip, that is enlarged or bulbous, drooping, upturned or hooked

- Nostrils that are large, wide or upturned

- Nasal asymmetry

Tummy Tuck

The purpose of such an intervention is to create a tighter and flatter abdomen by removing excess damaged skin (distended, scarring or stretch marks).

Also known as abdominoplasty, tummy tuck removes excess fat and skin, and in most cases restores weakend or separated muscles.

This creates an abdominal profil that is smoother and firmer, often enhancing body image and confidence.
