Dr Alia Nasser graduated from University of New South Wales in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). After undergoing extensive training in surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology and emergency medicine, she obtained a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Through her work in general practice, Dr Nasser developed an interest in dermatology and skin cancer after which she completed a Diploma of Dermatology from Monash University. Dr Nasser was one of the first doctors to start a training program with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) and has since become a Fellow of the College (FFMACCS). She has also studied and become a Board Certified Member of the American College of Regenerative Medicine (ABBARM) and finished a Fellowship in Anti ageing Medicine (FAARM) from the Australasian College of Anti ageing Medicine (A5M). Dr Nasser has been practicing cosmetic medicine since the year 2000 with a special interest in liposculpture. During her career, she attended further training with pioneers in liposculpture like Dr Georgio Fisher and Dr Pierre Fournier and has performed more than a thousand procedures. With a large base of satisfied clients, Dr Nasser prides herself on her technique and her utmost care and understanding when dealing with her patients. With a vast experience in facial rejuvenation using minimally invasive techniques, Dr Nasser believes in enhancing her patients’ appearance while maintaining a natural result. Dr Nasser attends many conferences and workshops in Australia and overseas to keep abreast of the latest techniques. Over the last two years, she attended advanced courses in the United States with leaders in the fields of facial surgery and eyelid reduction. Dr Nasser has been an invited speaker on Channel Nine and radio and has provided expert opinion to magazines like Vogue, Woman’s Day and Madison on cosmetic medicine topics. She is also a trainer for Cutera laser teaching doctors and nurses advanced laser techniques.
