Dr Vikram Puttaswamy
Biography:
Dr Puttaswamy is a Vascular Surgeon, trained at Royal North Shore, Royal Melbourne and Westmead hospitals. He is a Senior Visiting Medical Officer to Royal North Shore Hospital and performs surgery and endovascular procedures at North Shore Private Hospital and Dalcross Adventist Hospital. He also trained in general surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital.
Dr Puttaswamy has extensive experience in performing minimally invasive endovascular surgery for treatment of aneurysms, lower limb pain and ulcers. He also performs major surgery for aortic and carotid conditions, venous surgery and stenting for DVT as well as for venous access, renal access and renal transplant.
Research Interests
