Acne Vulgaris is produced when a there is a surge of male hormones, this can happen to both men and women. Although there is no cure for Acne it is efficiently controlled by the use of certain filters in the MPL which destroy P Acne Bacteria the prime symptom of acne in turn reducing the inflammation and restoring normal oil levels in the skin and hormones in the local area. Why should I choose MPL for Acne? MPL is an innovative and drug free method for treating Acne. The skin is then cooled with cold compresses to close the pores and an appropriate after cream is applied. No. All oral and topical medications need to stop at least six months before you start MPL treatments unless otherwise authorised by your GP or specialist.
