Alex practices Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese Tui Na Massage. He first became interested in Chinese Medicine while studying Chinese in Taiwan. There he witnessed first hand its ability to transform lives and hence decided to train himself upon his return to the UK. He subsequently completed a Bachelors degree in Acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture, a diploma in Tui Na Massage from the University of Middlesex and a Masters degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster.
After observing Chinese and Western medicine being practiced side by side as standard in China, he has developed the conviction that this is the future for modern medicine. They need not be in conflict. His inspiration is to be part of the generation of British practitioners that makes this a reality.
He has an interest in all pain conditions and musculo-skeletal problems. He also has a particular interest in Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome/ Chronic Prostatitis.
He is a member of both the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
