Ren Shen TCM & Acupuncture aims to bring high quality and affordable Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in and around Sussex. Tom Waterman graduated with a first class honours in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University and received an award from the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine for his studies.Ren Shen TCM & Acupuncture is now offering  affordable Chinese Herbal Medicine appointments and herbs every Thursday based out of the Anahata Health Clinic as well as offering Acupuncture and Tui Na throughout the week in various locations. We aim to use the wisdom and experience of the past to benefit and maintain our health for the future.

Longer treatment times (45 minutes/1hr), easy free parking, we treat all forms of joint and muscle pain, including back pain, sciatica, and trapped nerves, neck and shoulder pain, elbow, knee and hip pain, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, vertigo with the Epley Manoevre.  We also offer medical acupuncture, have a specialised BABY Clinic, and can offer total mind-body healing with an emphasis on those suffering from chronic pain. Acupuncture Space is run by Elma McElligott RGN, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac, and is located in East Sussex. I qualified from the International college of Oriental Medicine with a BA(Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture after four years of study.  I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and comply with current UK health and safety legislation.  I am appropriately insured and honour a strict code of discipline, ethics, hygiene and confidentiality between patient and practitioner. I keep up to date with new research and techniques by attending a variety of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses each year including the British Acupuncture Council's annual conference. I enjoy the variety of general practice, and am passionate about sharing the benefits of this wonderful system of medicine with my patients. I also have special interests in emotional issues including anxiety and depression, and also in using Acupuncture for male and female fertility concerns and gynaecological problems.
