About Elma McElligott LAc Acupuncture Space Clinics - The Therapy Lodge

Acupuncture Space is run by Elma McElligott RGN, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac, and is located in East Sussex.

I qualified from the International college of Oriental Medicine with a BA(Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture after four years of study.  I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and comply with current UK health and safety legislation.  I am appropriately insured and honour a strict code of discipline, ethics, hygiene and confidentiality between patient and practitioner.

I keep up to date with new research and techniques by attending a variety of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses each year including the British Acupuncture Council's annual conference. I enjoy the variety of general practice, and am passionate about sharing the benefits of this wonderful system of medicine with my patients. I also have special interests in emotional issues including anxiety and depression, and also in using Acupuncture for male and female fertility concerns and gynaecological problems.

RGN, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac, who is an experienced acupuncturist specialising in women's health. In combination with over 30 years of nursing experience she endeavours to bring the best of both medical modalities to the care of her clients. She works with all general health conditions and has a special interest in women's health including minor menstrual problems, anxiety, natural fertility, IVF support, pregnancy care and the perimenopause.
